First post and new member to Hellcat community. Nothing exciting here, just a 2018 WB regular ole Hellcat, but I freaking LOVE it! Cannot believe these cars come with instructions how to beat them AND have a factory warranty! Have driven old muscle cars for decades. No matter how nice they are, you constantly have to work on them and there are ALWAYS some sort of issues. Sold a mint 1979 T/A that I adored, but money offered was too good. Left a big hole in my heart and some fat cash and now hear I am. Miss the T/A, but Miss Kitty (I name all my cars) has filled that void X10.

Purpose of post, only complaints so far is brake dust (duh, if you keep your cars impeccable which I do) and I have some sort of delamination issues with front driver's seat. It's like thin top layer of leather has come loose from whatever substrate is supposed to be attached to. Anybody else experience anything like this? Car has 15K miles.

Stoked to be part of this community! These cars are amazing!

Previous owner may have cut a toxic fart that broke down the seat foam. That should be covered under warranty.

Your not alone.

The charger I had started doing similar but I sold it before it got that bad. If you do a search here you will find there wasn’t enough foam stuffed under the leather and causes some stretching of the leather

Doesn’t seem to happen with the alcantara seats, only the more expensive leather like you have. I would try for warranty as well

Or just add more foam. I use to work for la z boy as a tech and instead of sending these things back i would add more foam and reinforce the springs underneath. Was better then new. Unless your leather is stretched then use the warranty. Dont think real leather would stretch unless its put under extreme ware.

My 2020 Redeye did the same thing. It was like the leather was paper thin in the drivers seat bottom. Within a couple of thousand miles it was wrinkled and stretched, looking sort of rough. My 2021 SS has obviously much thicker leather there instead. Must just be a quality control issue (or lack there of). Traded in the redeye at 18’000 miles, or I would have had to do something about it as it was getting worse.

Well, no one addressed the elephant in the room....... :) Yes, a foam problem more than the leather.
That may be about the foam. Makes sense. But the actual leather on my redeye was super thin. Like 1/16” for real. My SS is at least 1/8” thick. Like you would normally expect of leather seats. Especially the heaviest wear area!

Brake dust cure is the Power Stop ceramic pads. 98% less dust. Best thing ever.

not sure of adding additional foam is going to solve the problem...may seriously interfer with heating/colling feature if so equipped. Mine are doing same thing buit to a far lesser degree.
