Hello all,
My 2015 Hellcat Charger has recently been plagued by check engine code P023B. The dealership says they are going to be keeping the car, no word yet on how many days. They seem to be a good dealership but with hellcats being a target is there anything I should request or ask them? I already want them to keep the car in the bay at night. What else would be recommended?

It is getting drop off tomorrow morning. They've seen it about 3 times before this, all trying to diagnose the P023B code. Im probably over thinking it I just don't want to have anything happen to the car.

Consider a Tracki. It won't keep your car from being stolen but it might be reassuring to have the ability to check in on your Charger and confirm that it's still at the dealership during the PM hours.

Funny how in the UAE we almost never hear of car theft , but all dealerships keep cars indoors behind huge locked gates with cameras all over the place.

May not be able to keep the car inside at night. If the car is not being worked on due to waiting for something -- response from a factory rep, parts, or something -- the car will almost certainly be moved out of the bay and probably outside. Dealer will not tie up a bay that can be occupied by a vehicle that requires more immediate attention and will result in more cash flow to the dealer's service department.

Just relax. Your car will be ok.

Do you mean besides sitting in the lot all night with a .40????????? I wouldn't worry a bit. Is it too late to out a transmitter in it? My UBER camera runs 24/7, so I can see what they did to my cars.

I just wonder how letting their hands on it a 4th time will do any good. Any other Dodge dealers you could bring it to?

why don't you just take it in the day of service and not store it at a worthless dealership, where its subject to 23098209384089 hands and weather because it won't be stored in a bay wasting dealership money. your car is not that important to them. if they have a code, what's the problem? 3 attempts to fix and nothing doing? tell them to order parts and start replacing not fixing.

Isn't the penalty for theft something like cutting off a desirable body part? In the U.S. they just let them go, as long as they vote the right way.

Only problem is that the nearest SRT Tech is 90 miles from the town I live in so traveling back and forth isn't an option. Trust me, Id much rather have it in my garage. Originally they believed the problem was a corroded wire. Spent a few days waiting for that part. Took the car down to have it changed no luck still there. Just today they were able to deduce that it is the intercooler coolant pump itself. Told me part is 1 week out.
