Got the 1 piece put in and its smooth as butter up until 140. Not enough road out in my spot to go much faster and be somewhat safe about it. I smashed in the exhaust a bit where they put stickers showing a common issue area to alleviate any problems. Left the exhaust heat reflector off that was separating the stock DS and exhaust. Dont figure any sort of exhaust temps in that area will have any effect on the driveshaft now that there isnt a carrier bearing there. Excited to get out on some slicks and really see what these cars are made of.

So are you saying there was a problem at 140? Just curious did you get the CF or Aluminum DS. I used the DSS CF and didn't need to bash a thing... the nice part is with the IRS you don't need the clearances you do with a conventional straight axle. I have about 5/8" clearance on the exhaust... no heat or vibration issues.

There was no problem with it at all. 140mph is just the limit of the road i test stuff on before i run out of room. They put stickers on the DS where theyve had exhaust clearance issues in the charger i would assume. Sticker said if the sticker is damaged warranty may be voided. Only issue i could see is my stock mufflers being close to it so i "adjusted" them with some heat and a hammer.

I clearanced the passenger side muffler, too, same way you did. Mine has worked good, but I've only had the car to 110 mph or so. I race 1/8 mile and have probably 150 runs on the driveshaft.

They poured out concrete for 1/4 mile this year so all the test and tunes are 1/4 mile. Ive only been 128 so far but figured id test it well above that.
