Still breaking in my DDHC, but wanted to see if anyone here has tried the American Racing Headers or Stainless Works catback systems? I noticed Mopar performance makes a 304ss system for the 6.4, which I’m assuming would fit the 6.2 since the look almost identical. Just can’t tell if it is a 3” or a 2.5” system.

It’s kind of nice having the exhaust system without the active exhaust valves to make a swamp a bit easier.

I want louder too. Borla's website shows they are working on their Atak system for the DD HC and I spoke to a rep that said it will be ready in couple of months. Haven't heard anything about the AR headers or SW cat back tho.

Your Ride, certainly your opinion/choice. You want it louder, go for it. For me, I'd do this for more power over more sound. The issue for me (I posted this on Durango net), is that you likely will need a tune to go with it, so that it doesnt kick check engine lights (high flow cats will likely still kick inefficiency warnings). But I did do headers on my Ram 1500 (and tune, intake and throttle body), and I liked the results in performance, but kept stock muffler on to help keep reasonable sound levels.

Will a catback throw a CEL for a Durango HC?
My guess is no, but whats the point lol, thats not the restriction in the setup. So you clearly are looking to make this more noisy lol, and for that I agree with unavowed, its loud enough.

Man, I’ve got 5 daughters age 9-3….,I need this loud because I pick them up from daycare/school everyday. It’s insane in that car for a 20 min drive. But….. if it results in any loss of power whatsoever…. Then I’m not doing it.

Lol ok that’s reasonable and rational, I withdraw my comment. It’s probably easier to drop the mid muffler out. Its cheap easy and LOUD. Videos are available on this forum. Try that.

This NOT the best video, there was a guy who did one that was way better but I cant find it, he showed everything from the work being done, to cold start to wot, which showed just HOW much louder this is. Your girls wont win this battle:

but its a simple muffler drop out with a x pipe or similar replacement.
