Got my new 2021 Durango Hellcat last Friday. I was given 2 red keys, was told they were no longer doing the black keys (to limit to 500hp). This seemed unusual to me? Today, I got to 518 miles, after following all the breakin rules. Made several full throttle pulls trying both of my red keys and Dyno gauge never goes above 495 hp, it appears something is limiting me under 500hp. I'm definitely not getting the 710hp mode. I confirmed both Eco mode and Valet mode are turned off on Uconnect. Any ideas what could be limiting my power?

Depending on weather it could be somewhat close. My 2015 Hellcat would show 707hp at redline if weather was right, but the trackhawk I have now rarely shows over 600 if I am remembering right. Just not very accurate due to awd and aero dynamics. I don’t think they did a lot or programming off of what the hellcat cars were set to do. But this is only my assumptions because my power numbers are the same as everyone else sees on the Jeep forums. But 495 seems low if your revving it all the way out and WOT with decent air

Thanks, I was wondering about the dyno gauge accuracy also, but today was perfect weather, low 70s temp, no humidity. You can literally see the dyno gauge pause/hold at 495 fairly consistently.

I always thought to myself, who drives around looking at the ridiculous horsepower gauge? I mean, it's just a marketing gimmick. Nobody would ever take it seriously. Well, now I know.

Some of us enjoy some of the tech these offer vs other fast vehicles. Accurate or not, I’m a data nerd. But I don’t stare at it doing a pull. I have had enough friends that want videos of ride along and have watched the footage of some of the “silly” gauges

This dude just got a new car and asked a serious question. No need to be a jerk

So while we are on this topic I would like to ask why when I go into the settings it says 594 horsepower with the red key. I have done 10000 miles and I have the 2019 Redeye. Why isn't showing the whole 797 HP?

For those that have posted about hitting a certain mileage and hoping more power will be available, that is not the case. Full power is available from day one. Dont let a dealer or anyone tell you otherwise. If you are not getting full power it is not due to miles.

Are you in metric mode?

Lots of us do. It’s there. It’s fun to watch here and there. It’s not a crime.

What is 717 metric horsepower?
My gauge came from the factory set in 'metric' mode, so power was in Kw (kilowatts) and torque was in NM (Newton Meters). That was one of the first things I changed so it now displays in US standards using Hp for power and Ft-lbs for torque. It would read lower in the default 'metric' mode, because 717Hp converts to only 535Kw.

What does your 0-60 clock in at if you stomp it from idle? If you see 3.6 or faster, I think your making full power.
So yes, I am able to get between 3.6 to 3.8 second 0-60 times, and that is pretty much as advertised, and indicates full power. Apparently the dyno meter isn't as accurate on all wheel drive. Put a call into SRT support to inquire about that, seems they could fix with software. Thanks for other suggestions.

Shoot, I keep it on when I'm driving as my kids and wife love to watch it move around.
