Ok so a few posts about hellcat having this noise. Sounds from other posts like maybe it’s a pipe hitting something, but it doesn’t sound like that to me and I’ve been racing since 87, that being said I don’t usually run full exhaust on my turbo cars either, so don’t get alot of exhaust sound .

So wanted some opinions cause my HC Durango is making “ the noise “ This is a good representation of the sound mine is making also.

almost sounds like breaking up or an exhaust leak hitting a shield.

haven’t thrown it up on the lift yet, wanted to see what people have found out before I poke around .

It’s the exhaust hitting the cross member. Pretty prevalent on Durango Hellcats and Trackhawks.

Yeah just posted some pics in another thread because it was kind of two issues I found that I wanted to know if they were both common/ normal
One is a severely necked down pipe behind the trans that has got to be killing off some HP.

Hellcat Durango issues ( Does yours have this? )

So I snapped a couple pics under the Durango that I’m wondering if they all have. Pertains to the noise (rattling) under the floor pans let me know if your looks like this or it’s just mine one is behind the trans x member and no hood reason I can see for the crimped down pipe except to lose...
