Any update on this? I have a similar noise. Almost sounds like static. Mainly passenger side.

Anyone else experienced this? I just noticed mine. It's only on deceleration, it's sounds like a whale under water. On top of that you can feel it in the gas pedal (not when pressed but hovering on it during deceleration). It is very slight, but noticeable when u are driving. Definitely sounds like a belt noise. It's like if you were to wind to the max, and then let go... trying my best to explain the noise lol

its not a metal vibration noise though, it really sounds like a non evasive moaning sound that echo's into the cabin. kind of like when your thermostat fan kicks on, but its not.

I have video recorded the sound. Sounds like something to do with the fan? Either way, it is loud enough and makes enough vibrations that i can feel it inside cabin as I'm driving.

Mine is right behind glove box but not inside. It honestly sounds like mine is a heat shield making noise. Especially when cruising at 70 staying steady. When on it hard or WOT never hear it. Once off and decel hear it. Have a bunch of goodies coming so when put on my lift I'll post what I find.

Weird one for me but I had one of those "chip my car" OBDII that was left over from my Durango SRT. I unplugged that and no more noise. I'm guessing it changed the variables on the thermostat or something and it was battling the fan turning on and off? Either way, that is what fixed my problem.

I pulled intake tube and noise still there. Definitely associated with the serpentine system. Stethoscope is pointing to ac compressor. Last year I did have the ac system serviced and they added a pound or two of refrigerant.

I guess I'm wondering if it's overfill with refrigerant or possibly overfill with oil in the ac system? Maybe ac overpressuring because of pooling oil in ac system?

I am going to take it in and have it checked. If all looks good I guess I will replace that compressor.

I have checked it makes the noise regardless of whether ac clutch is engaged or not so I am sure it's not the ac clutch bearing.
