I wanted to give a special thanks and shoutout to Dusterhoff Tuning (and those who recommended them) as they have been great to deal with over the course of my recent tuning journey. I bought a pre-owned '18 Trackhawk in March and when I went to go see it for the first time, I was delighted to see that the previous owner had done a laundry list of upgrades to it. Since this was my first Hellcat, I bought it and immediately went to work educating myself on the platform and the usual upgrade paths.
A full mechanical inspection showed the vehicle was in excellent shape, but after conferring with Dusterhoff, it was advised that the 2.85 upper + Ripatuned Incognito lower combo as equipped was outside of the recommended range for pump gas. With this information, I acquired the necessary bolts 'n belts to restore the crank pulley back to stock as well as replace the idlers and tensioners, just to be safe. After sending the initial log to Dusterhoff, they got to work setting up a tune specific to my vehicle based on the data I sent them. A few writes later and the Thunderhawk is pulling hard, shifts beautifully at WOT and makes a hell of a racket when the loud pedal is mashed. My research has shown there are many choices out there for MOPAR tuning and I'm sure everyone has their opinions, which is fine. I for one am grateful for the Dusterhoff Tuning referral as they have been fantastic to deal with and I am very happy with the results. If you're looking for a knowledgeable tuner who knows the platform well and will calibrate your hellcat with care and precision, I highly recommend Dusterhoff. Just don't look at their product offerings as you're going to find yourself having a bad case of WANT.
