What do you mean by that? How does it work?Unless I'm mistaken it doesnt work that way anymore.
That car is a standard Hellcat, not a Redeye.2C3CDZC97KH500207
Is that just true for Challengers? My RE Challenger has the L. But so does my wife's non RE Hellcat Charger. That car is a standard Hellcat, not a Redeye.
The Redeye would have an L in the 7th position, the C is for the 707/717hp version.

I agree except this car is without question a Redeye. That car is a standard Hellcat, not a Redeye.

Charger is different, all seem to have the L.Is that just true for Challengers? My RE Challenger has the L. But so does my wife's non RE Hellcat Charger.
Ok you're right and that does jog my memory. When the Redeye first came out I noticed it had the same body code as the Hellcat and wondered why they didn't put a character in the VIN to distinguish it from the standard Hellcat. So this is one of those early cars. Soon after the Redeyes all got the L and still do today but that car being so early does not. So my bad and good catch!I agree except this car is without question a Redeye.

Thanks for the information. Does anyone know the VINs of the early or first built cars? I think this may have been the one used in the promotional pictures found online.Charger is different, all seem to have the L.

I was able to do some research and found some other Pilot cars - I found one earlier Redeye (vin 2C3CDZC97KH500191) that was possibly wrecked, a few other lower VIN non-RE Hellcats as well a a couple later VINs. I also found (3) Pilot cars that were sold to an Australian film company to be used in filmingWho ever had the 207 Vin unit, it was put in service in Michigan in 9/19, with 9 miles, and sold in Florida auction on 1/20 , already put 12759 Miles on it in 4 months.
