Still figuring out all the options on the touch screen. Just figured out how to put in Eco mode just for S&G.
Anyone know what the HP reduces to when in Eco mode. Not that I EVER drive in that mode, just curious.
I know in Auto Mode, it still shows 717 HP. Almost feels like valet with the Eco on.
Drives me nuts simply experimenting with it, can't wait to go back to my Custom mode.

...correct - 500 HP - and it shifts a lot earlier on the A8 to save fuel. Cruising long range I've gotten 20-22 MPG at 75 MPH+ with it.

Also, you can "double click" the SRT button to grab your preferred aggressive settings too.

Thanks so much. I kind of figured that but, but wasn't sure. Much rather drive in the custom mode. I love the quicker up and down shifts.

Took my Redeye to Michigan twice already... left it on 797hp.... was averaging about 21-22 MPG....using the cruise of course.... Don't really see much value in the ECO unless city driving imo...

Actually, I tend to use the auto mode out on the open road and my custom mode in the city, can't stand the constant up and down shifting and the 'lazy' feel it has try to squeeze out better MPG. Like my motto has been for over 40 years, 'the worse mileage I'm getting, the more fun I'm having' . That's what owning a muscle car is all about. I am certain that there is no one on this forum that ever bought a Hellcat for good gas mileage. Although I must admit, compared to my 71 Boss 351 back in the day that used to get about six miles per gallon on the highway, and this thing gets about 23, it is a whole different world. Got to love the new technology.

Sigh. I literally spent 1/3 of a tank of gas running to the airport and back tonight. Heh, it's a round trip of about 20 miles. Gas mileage... PFFFFFFFT.

The eco mode disappeared on my 21 RE. It did make a difference in gas milage with city driving.

But just for shits and giggles does anyone know how to get my eco mode back? I set up a custom mode at around 1000 miles and use it a lot by just double pressing the SRT button. Did the car decide eco was not being used anymore?

2015 Charger; I thought all the ECO mode did was shift the trans sooner? I only have two red keys, so it stays in the higher HP mode and can't change it. It's so sluggish though that I don't use it.

On that airport run I did, it burned all that gas because I was in a hurry (and it was late at night, rural airport. Didn't pass but maybe 1 or 2 cars the entire trip). On the way back I tried to beat my time (successfully).

For fun, I filled up yesterday and have had it on eco for two commutes. On that airstrip run, my MPG was 6.5mpg. In eco, driving a similar distance route, I'm averaging 19.2 mpg. Of the 12 miles I drive, about 5 are light suburban traffic and 7 highway.
