Has anyone installed the Eibach Pro kit in the rear only? Correct me if im wrong here but installing them in the front would lower it to the point where the bumper would hit things like curbs/parking stops, plus the rear wheel gap (to me) is much more noticeable than the front. And I would think that since its the Pro model, the drop isnt really aggressive and should hopefully even the car out?? If anyone has any input (or pics) of this I'd really appreciate it!

That might make the back lower than the front, also the Eibach has a progressive spring rate which may not work well with the stock springs in the front.

True I didn’t think of the spring design difference

Like others have said, the back will be lower, not sure you'll like the look.

Just trim 1/2 to 2/3's of one coil off the stock rear coil and it sits absolutely level. spring load and ride stay the same. rate increases by a hair about 15 lbs rate. Start with 1/2 coil and drive it. super simple mod. Remember that the cars sit higher in the rear anticipating load. Like 4 people and or a trunk full of "stuff". my car is level but on a trip to the hard wear store loading up the trunk with home improvement junk, tools, and a full tank, I can notice a little lower ride height in the rear. I use the car like a dam truck sometimes :)

You MUST re-aline the rear even for that slight of a drop. These cars have RADICAL negative camber gain on a already huge static negative camber setting. Choices or adjustable bushings or change all the control arms. When re-alining you can get rid of as much negative camber as you want and you will gain forward bite. I run only negative -.5 and plan on reducing it even more. It will still handle real good due to two things:
Number one the huge negative gain when the outside wheel compresses in the corner. It will still have 1 to 1.5 negative under hard lateral load.
Number two these cars push like crazy into a corner so if you remove some negative Rear camber which helps the cornering grip you actually will gain some handling on a relatively stock machine. Get that ?? reduce lateral grip on rear and improve cornering. I have tracked it more that drag racing it and it works. Now the guy with sticky Hoosiers will be different....,

Never heard of that. I know guys who take theirs to the drag strip lower the front of the car and leave the rear stock to fit the radials. I wouldn't do rear it would look weird. And my 392 was lowered on h&r sport plus which is low and you just gotta know how to drive lowered cars. It lowered my front 1.5 and rear 1.75

i just did this to see how it would work.
first the weight transfer from front to rear is huge with stock front springs and eibach prokit rears. this matched with the progressive spring rate causes any unbalance in the rear to shoot the car erratically to one side or the other. I have a m6 and when shifting /unloading and reloading the suspension the car will dart in the opposite direction after ever shift. the car is unstable and very unpredictable. I had a professional alignment done after the rear springs were installed. This setup will make your car a nightmare to drive. also as stated above the rear is lower than the front by about 1/2 inch which doesnt look awful but causes huge drivability issues.

bottom line don't do it. always replace springs in complete sets. Use the engineering that these companies have provided us.
