When I started this project about a year and a half ago, little did I know how quickly it would prove to be foreshadowing. Rising fuel prices, government mandates and of course, the literal demise of the V8. Looks like the Aussie's called it before we did. Now all we need is some assless chaps and a mohawk then the circle will be complete.

Dude that shit is AWESOME. One of the big reasons I chose the Hellcat over the Scat Pack is from watching Mad Max about a hundred times in my youth and loving that supercharger. Great tribute and a great platform to make a modern day Falcon out of. Congrats!

A Scott Super Slot is fuel injection, doesn't use a carburetor. Also, the throttle blade and injectors are inside the body, just FYI. Old school 60's stuff.

It actually has two blowers... the GMC 6-71 is driven by an electric motor so it can be turned on and off like the movie car, and underneath it is the 2.4 Hellcat twin screw that provides the boost. And yes, the zoomies are functional, when you pull the shifter switch to engage the upper blower it opens them up.

It has two blowers actually. One for show, one for go. And yeah, the go one works pretty well:
