Not sure how reliable this web source is but if true we all better get our hellcats before Shhhh goes down
References to FCA margins and their financial performance are factual, and as those figures are compared across the auto industry segment. FCA isn't as financially healthy in comparison to similar companies. M&A is a strategy to deal with that. (Sucess that way is debateable although here we can presume merger with Chrysler didn't yield expected results.) AKA I believe what I read here.

The Fiat sales in the US are an anchor around their neck. His plan didn't work. Killed off other platforms to sell an import with another skin on it. They can't compete with Kia in the cheap little car market.

How many Neons were sold in total?
Now how many Darts/Fiat 500?

The saddest thing is I can see the Chinese or Korean car companies being the most interested... Ram and Jeep would be enticing for them. sigh

They need to go back to the
Chrsyler = Luxury
Dodge = Muscle/Dailys/Regulars
Jeep = SUV/Off Roaders

SRT being a dip into each brand for performance.

Well like I have said this allocation mess doesn't just affect Hellcats. Ask anyone who orders any other product. Hell pickup trucks sit in "VON Hell" too.. or make D1 and never get built. Like regular run of the mill old Rams... so... what's your excuse for that? Can't manage a major auto manufacturing process? Most likely. Going to go under and be bought out? Highly likely. Good riddance lol. Dodge already builds a B grade product. If someone else comes in, cleans house and spends a little money they easily could improve.

I'm assuming "his plan" refers to Sergio?

Sergio has stated the Fiat 500 is here because the government said he had to as a condition on the financial loans.

11:30 if it doesn't start there.

Same with Dart, it was rushed to market because he HAD to.

Government tells him he has to, what's he going to do, fight them in court? They would have laughed to his face and yanked all financing and given it to GM.

The government basically sold out an American company, Chrysler, to his foreign company after the US gave them a bailout. I didn't see Ford or GM sold off to a foreign company. He bought it, too bad the deal he made is not working out for Fiat.

Either way. It's a FAIL on the Fiat 500 in the US. Man in charge of making it happen..Tim K

Don't worry, I won't "touch the Dart" either. Not even with a 10 foot pole.

Like the government can run their own mess, let alone dictate what others should do.

Phil Lebeau from CNBC just mentioned this again on the business news that it would make sense to merge the 2
