I put up what I was sent, you don't have to like it, but it is what he sent me today. If you notice I didn't say he called me but responded to an email.
Judging by that email, and seeing the context now of TK's final sentence in reply to AER's email....this could be the nail in the coffin for many of us. If what TK is saying hold's true (basically Scenario B in my post), there are going to be a ton of folks who won't get a car. No way they can catch up to all real orders placed up until January by only giving a dealer 1 car a month.I think it's reasonable for them to focus production on the oldest orders, but by the time they conclude all the builds for the earliest VON-holders, it'll be time for the 2016's to emerge, which would still leave countless thousands of buyers from the November-September time period out of luck. Either way, some folks that ordered these cars won't get them. (No surprise, to me, but a bitter pill for those that have always insisted 'everybody that orders one will get a Hellcat!")
Perhaps what TK meant, was that the oldest orders were not subject to any allocation, so an order entered into the system in the last few months would have to be filled via the lone allocation, (which only a big dealer, with no Hellcats between C and KZ status could achieve) while the earliest VON's are getting continuously built without limitations. That would whittle down at least a lot of the earliest orders, and still periodically allow a tiny fraction of the orders from the last few months to get built. Then, after the 2016's emerge, the unfilled orders (which would perhaps by then be mostly comprised of orders from post-October 2015) would move to the top of the list for the 2016 builds? Obviously, I have no inside data, just posting my thoughts/theory.Judging by that email, and seeing the context now of TK's final sentence in reply to AER's email....this could be the nail in the coffin for many of us. Definitely a bitter pill. Chrysler screwed this royally. Under estimated demand and failed to limit dealers. However it is what it is at this point. Yes some people most likely will not get a HC. But if even half the orders are still valid I question if they can build even that many. Sounds like they are in damage control and taking a sacrifice from dealers and customers. Sort of spreading the pain. And honestly I can't think of a better way to get the most of a bad situation.(No surprise, to me, but a bitter pill for those that have always insisted 'everybody that orders one will get a Hellcat!")
This is what i have thought, with ALL Chargers, 300s and Challengers coming out of the same building, that plant has to be up to their ears in work. I would think that logistically they have a nightmare. RS or Brampton Builder may be able to shed some light on the nightmare for us.Don't forget about the big picture here in that all Challenger, Charger and Chrysler 300 model variants are assembled on the same assembly line. I think it would be interesting to compare the total order intake with that of the monthly production schedule for each model variant. Perhaps there's an opportunity for Dodge to scale back some of the stock orders for non HC model variants in order to fulfill existing HC sold orders?
Not to denigrate but everywhere i look there is a TON of SXT's. Are they really selling that many? Cut them off and give us their production #'s!Perhaps there's an opportunity for Dodge to scale back some of the stock orders for non HC model variants in order to fulfill existing HC sold orders?

Sounds like the lot cats are going to stay high.
I'll admit that I was on the bandwagon that had Dealer markups going away in the Spring. The HC's on ebay are still commanding a 5k+ premium and I've not seen one for sale at MSRP. Given the allocation scenario presented here, prices are likely to stay high for this model year. That sucks!Thinking 7-8 thousand total produced/ if every star aligns it self perfectly- then ganna have to decide on 2016my or pay for a 2015off lot- Wonder if mark-up's will gain traction as we get closer to year end (MY)..?
Where is that Huggy? He's been insisting these cars will be sitting on dealer lots soon, and going for sticker or less!I'll admit that I was on the bandwagon that had Dealer markups going away in the Spring. If I find the troll, I will totally BanHammer them!!! But I have to be quick because Hellcatdotclub always beats me to it!!! Watch out, I'm troll hunting!!! No one messes with our family and gets away with it!!!"He" sent that letter to many people in this forum. Do not believe everything that you see. As I stated before, there is a troll in this forum and probably in the other Challenger forums as well confusing people and telling lies.
I will believe this when it happens, as of today, it is not happening. Therefore, it is a lie or incorrect.
Maybe I'm reading this wrong.
