Finally got an answer on allocation

According to the head cheese himself (TK), dealers are only getting 1 allocation a month for sold orderds for hellcat's regardless of whether it is a challenger or charger. Until the backlog from summer orders goes down that is the process they are following.

At least it is an answer (not one I like)

So it won't matter how many cars they sold or how many hellcats they sold? Every dealer is going to get one

No
I would read the note he sent literally. Seems to me to be the easiest tact to take. Also I did ask about dealer orders and he said that they view any order as sold (which does make sense since technically the dealer is buying the car) and the allocation covers all orders.
The March allocation I believe is the 6 thru 10of the month,my order is supposed to go from VON to VIN,as my order was next in-line,so lets wait a couple of weeks and see.I placed my order in mid Jan and was told from 16 to a 18 week lee time up front. Now I do realize we are talking about car salesmen,so I will wait and see,I also placed my order at MSRP because I refuse to be robbed buy a greedy Dealership. For now I will do as the rest who haven't received there cars,I will sit back and wait.
I was first in line for charger, but 4th in line if you add challengers to the mix at my dealer
I just can't see every dealer getting an allocation in March when they've been doing about 500 allocations/month (Which is approximately what they can build in a month). I think the top selling ~500 dealers (who does not have an unsold hellcat in any status and has at least 1 sold order in BX) will get 1 allocation in March. It's just my gut feeling based on what I've been reading on this forum.

I do think there will be orders left at the end of the model year that are unfilled and there will be some unhappy customers. I hope I'm wrong and months ago, I was in the boat believing that all VON's would turn to a VIN as they'd drop the allocation BS but that just doesn't seem to be the case.

I don't think he meant every dealer gets one, just the dealers that ordered one already
*Monkeywrench incoming*

Just got an update from my sales guy we always deal with (same one Fireball and RoyG deal with). He said that for this month they had 2 Challengers picked up. They also had a January one waiting to be built, or just currently went through build (that's my estimate as he told me a couple weeks ago the Jan allocation hadn't been built yet).

Cliffnotes: Dealer I have mine ordered with had 2 cars picked up in Feb. Note: All vehicles at my dealer of choice are Sold Orders.
I find that hard to believe........My Dealer got 1 Challenger and 1 Charger in January.........Both Sold Order........And has gotten no more, and was told that they would get no more until the 2 they had are off the books........And that holds true from the September Allocation, they got no more until the 2 they had were off the books....And there other stores have had the same done to them.........And I will Repeat all of the orders are "SOLD ORDER"

I would have to agree.....They cant get the one they have VINS's for built......I do believe that yours pushed from 2/6 to 3/2 and there are a few others also on the forum........And theses are still projected build not firm......So what does that say beside there are logistics issues that are not being talked about.........
The information is telling us that they are not building 500 per month. Who knows how many. Maybe there are some technical issues that they are trying to fix. Again, nobody knows
RS recently said 2017 got the green light. Do the math and calculate how many will be made through the 2017 MY. Dodge may not be able to keep up with demand for 2015 and there will certainly be a lot of customers who have a 2015 VON by the time 2016s are made (I'm expecting to be one of them)... BUT... If you can be patient enough, you WILL get a Hellcat. I think they completely underestimated the demand, but they intend to do everything they can to get one to everyone who wants one (like building them through 2017).
John Dodge, that is the one that sent me messages. Check my inbox Tammie.
Mr. John Dodge is legit and can help you. We are waiting to get approval to give him a title so you know he is legit and with SRT. If he offers to assist you, he can. Thanks for being patient while I confirmed this.

He told me that I was going to get a call, I never received the call. My line of work for the last 25 years makes me think one way only when it comes to people that I do not know and promise something that they cannot produce. But that is just me. Law enforcement does that to you. :)

Like they have done with the Jeep SRT....expect a modest price increase for 2016 and 2017 too.

HELLCAT.ORG RULES!!!!!!!!!! lol
I am inclined to believe TK or RG has allowed (perhaps read as tasked or instructed) for this to happen since it seems many members are beginning to send emails directly to TK and others in management. They have been gracious enough to answer some of them, but lets be honest, they are not there to answer emails from the casual consumer. Ol' John Boy is gonna be working his tale off here, hope his fingers are ready!!!
