I finally found a dealer that did me right. Hellcat Jesus wins again. He was honest and put everything up front. I went with I F8 green narrow body with houndstooth seats. None of the crazy extras since I just want to feel the car not everything else. I was told the rough timeframe is 16 weeks from order date but it could be way less or way more. Im in no hurry. The only thing I have to figure out now is what DR to put on the rear since the widebody tires would stick out too much. I am also seeing that a catch can would be a good purchase along with a neutral strap cover plate. This will be my first new car purchase. Nothing like going from a Ford fiesta to a hellcat.

So many owners over the last 2-3 years have been buying or upgrading to WB's that picking a new narrow body Hellcat somehow seems like the contrarian choice. As a fellow NB owner, congrats! And thanks! I feel relevant again LOL.

I went with a Challenger. The narrow body reminds me of the cars my grandparents had back when I was a kid. The wide body just doesn't do it for me.

The WB isn't my fav either. I just sold my NB Hellcat and ordered a Widebody Redeye Jailbreak. You can't get the JB in the NB format, so to get a JB, I had to go widebody. Aesthetics are about the only reason for choosing a NB because the WB outclasses it fairly handily. The NB is a bit quicker on the drag strip if it's got a set of DRs or slicks, but in terms of all around performance, the WB is the way to go. Even though I prefer the NB, I did however want the "best" one to keep around in the long term after all the Hellcats are done.

I'm the opposite, even though I owned a barracuda sometime ago I like the look of the wide body. Nothing wrong with NB i just prefer aesthetics of the WB

I just wish dodge would have done it with sheet metal. Different quarters, different fenders. Not plastic flares. The average guy would not be doing the driveway swaps we have seen. I just wonder how many widebody conversations are out there with factory untrimmed quarters rubbing the tires after hard bumps lol

It’s funny how some people have their opinions an want to change other peoples with them. I prefer the charger WB over other options in the hellcat family. However I do like the look of all of them.
