I was in Lincoln NE last week, and drove through the local Dodge dealership. They had no Hellcats there, but had just sold one earlier in the week, Sublime, to the guy who crashed his within 2 hours of taking delivery!! He got a hold of another Sublime one!! Came from Colorado, and drove it home! I haven't seen any more pictures of a crushed up Sublime in the last week, so apparently he made it home!! How does one get two Hellcats anyway????
Found this interesting!

His insurance gave him the money for a new one, really guys. I can't wait the second you guys get into a fender bender and we all recall your license, your first born, your first toy and your mothers mothers life.

I agree. It just sucks to be the 1st guy to roach one & a couple hours into it. If I knew this guy I'd still be razzing him!!!:p:D

Everyone makes mistakes, it could have been any of us. His insurance likely paid for a new one. I don't wonder how he paid for it, but how he got allocation for another one.
He didn't "get allocation". He obviously went to Nebraska, and he's from Colorado.... so he shopped for a new one, and probably paid a hefty ADM, too.

Even if the insurance company coughed up most of the money... they didn't cough up all of it. He pretty much lost whatever down payment he had before.

Not necessarily true. The dealership that I bought my car from for MSRP, Cherokee Dodge in Canton Georiga, has another Sublime Hellcat coming in that the person that orders it backed out of. They are selling that one for MSRP as well.

First assuming he paid msrp; he would have to have "gap" insurance to be made "whole"... It's just a car to insurance company and it lost value the second he signed on the dots..
If he paid over msrp- he ate that.
- think it's telling of folks mindset to tear this guy up; he's rich, he's rich and stupid, he "cut in line" ahead of me..., he should not be able to drive a Hellcat, surprised not hearing about a class action law suit against this guy!

I was not meaning to rip the guy, (Save his ability to keep 707 hp on the road.), Just found it interesting that he was ABLE to secure a second one so quickly. More power to him! Ahhhh...Maybe not, he can't seem to handle it!:cool::cool:

Hulk Hogan has two Hellcats. He has a Hellcat Challenger and a Hellcat Charger. My friends son works at Dayton Andrews Dodge in Clearwater Florida and detailed both cars for the Hulkster!

I have a feeling that there are many "hulksters" out there that we don't know about. They have money, political clout and high visibility in the community. This may be an answer for those who had 9/9 orders and didn't get their cars yet. Although it may not seem "fair", it makes good business sense in terms of PR and advertising (free). Hopefully the market is saturated in this regard and less "grooms will be left at the altar" in 2016 and beyond.
