Finally got to the track. Put on my drag radials and first pass was waiting for the wheel spin but it never happened. First pass 10.97 @ 129.05 mph!!!!!! WOOHOO. Got much hotter but second pass was a little quicker at 10.93, and the third I tried some different settings and another 10.97 @ 129.65 MPH! I am thoroughly impressed with this car. The car still is not broke in and that's shifting at 5900 RPM. There is more! Video's to come.

Congrats 129 mph is the highest I've seen for stock.

Headwind, tailwind or no wind?

There was a bit of a cross tail wind but I didn't pay much attention to that. Don't think it helps too much at this track, but next time out in similar DA conditions will tell the story.

I wasn't shifting there the car was! A-8. I have the go pro video in car looking at the tachometer and even in track mode manual it shifted before I hit the paddles? I have to assume the computer is doing this until I get to a certain millage? It did shift a little higher, 6,000, from fourth to fifth. When I download the video I will post it.

You have to have the floor shifter to the left manual mode to hold the paddle shifters in a gear. It will not shift until you do.

I did not know that. I thought if it was in track mode and traction control off with paddles engaged it would not shift automatically. So you have to have the floor shifter in manual too. Ok good to know. Guess I should read more of the manual. My 2012 SRT would not shift in track mode until I did, and I don't even know if it had manual on the shifter cause I always used this paddles!

Congrats, you must have had some magical air, the 129 is the highest I've seen and picking up 29 mph in the back half, 60's were decent and consistent with a 10.9 run

I have a few 1/4 mile passes under my belt. Close to 1,000 passes, so I have done it once or twice. LOL Ran a 10.30ish 1970 Road Runner for about 18 years in Pa. and mostly South Florida (Moroso) at the time. But honestly it was all the car!
