Sorry if this has been asked before. I will be waking up my Hellcat for spring soon. I'd like to crank the engine over without actually starting the car to get the oil flowing first. If there an easy way to do this?
I also am getting ready to take the car out of winter storage. Is the flooded engine start procedure available on the 2015 hellcat chargers? Ive checked in the manual and nothing about flooded engine for the charger.
Are you able to watch the oil psi gauge in the dash while cranking? Anyone verify you get much psi? Old school priming is engaging the oil pump without turning the engine.
I would just start it.
1. Pull the fuel pump fuse
2. Starter the Cat for 45 seconds
3. Replace the fuse
4. Start the vehicle
5. Clear the two codes from pulling the fuse
6. Get shit hammered and stare at your dream car
