Yes they are and no, thank goodness I am not! I did get a warning one time from one on the freeway doing 85 in a 60. It was late, no one out and lanes open. He was actually very nice and told me to slow down so I did!

This is why I have a Valentine One in every vehicle I own. They have been fool proof for me and I also spray my plates with the "glare optimizer" you can find in the back pages of Motor Trend. Great stuff and helps to know when to lower the hammer.

You know so far in advance and you also may be in traffic....if there are several cars and you slow down well in advance....you are sitting pretty. Plus sometimes it's just good for awareness of radar. Sometimes the cop may be sitting concealed where he cannot see you until you pass his direct line of sight...if you know before you pass it and are going the posted the limit...it gives you the advantage.

Yeah, I am thinking any fighting chance I have at a warning is good!! I really am not as bad as...okay, maybe I am...nevermind...The only time I do the speed limit is in school zones or if children are around...yeah, I'm toast!!! My bright red Chally is gonna stand out like a sore thumb leading the pack. I need any help I can get. LMAO!!

I have been thinking about this quite a bit lately, since it is inevitable I am going to be sitting in front of the flashing red and blue lights...Don't you think that since we all have to pay a gas guzzler tax and taxes on fuel that goes toward roads that there should be a lane just for cars over 500hp. I mean seriously, we paid for the lane and we should be given special consideration and if you are going under 90 mph, you should get pulled over and informed that you cannot drive in that lane until you can reach the maximum of 90 mph? It just seems appropriate for all we contribute.

Yeah, I might be blonde, but NOT STUPID! I never make smart a$$ comments once I have the window down. They get my full respect and consideration. I am hoping that I will just get a warning for good behavior at that point.

My dealer bought the first Hellcat they ordered. He was driving it home to his garage and got pulled over for doing 50 in a 55. Seems his employees forgot to put a dealer plate on his car.
I told him I thought it should have been 150 in a 55.

I am surprised he even fessed up to that one!!! Sad...lol

If I remember right, can't 5-0 just estimate your speed and still give you a ticket? Radar, Laser or not? It would be your word against his(or her) and you know who the courts usually side with.

Any time I have been pulled over, it has been radar and they are usually nice and give me a ticket for going less, but when I go to court the actual speed is always listed so, I just request a deferral and pay a fine. If I don't get caught for a full year, it drops off my record. This is why I need to get on the track. I can only get 2 deferrals a year and I speed 365 days a year....You see the odds here are NOT favorable.

I won one ticket, not for speeding, but 5-0 got me for pulling up too far on a stop sign, don't want to bore you with all the details, but I did what is called trial by written declaration, which if your not familiar, is you basically pay the fine first, not admit guilt and fill out a written declaration form with all the details, and send pictures etc. to support your case. The judge will look at it and give the officer a chance to respond, if he doesn't, or the judge rules for you, you win. Refund. The thing is that the officer will get OT if you GO into court to fight the ticket, so it is worth it for him, but by written declaration, he doesn't get anything. Now, they did not tell me whether or not he responded, but they just said that it was dismissed and issued a refund, nothing went on record. Plus, I had my cop friend help me word the declaration, so that might have helped. So that worked out for me.

Love it! I always try to dispute first and then my last report is deferral...

Well an officer pulls me over today in their blue loaded typical charger and its training day! He has a ride along!!! So, they walk up and it's the normal "You Know Why WE Pulled You Over" I said "no" He says you were speeding back there 52/45. I say if you guys wanted to see it you could of just asked!! Now you just burned up my warning in town. I have a camera mounted right here pointed in my car recording. "as I point to it " I think you pulled me over for the acceleration from 0-45 as the sound is very noticeable but I can prove I didn't speed. I then asked them how fast is your police car. While he and his kid drool staring inside at the "Punisher" which is My hellcats nickname! HE says not fast enough heads hanging in. They go back writ e the warning and hand it to me. the rookie writes the ticket and the vet tells me don't worry were not giving you a ticket a said "I know and said that My friend was also with me. As we pull away and they are still walking to their car I took off and rooster a lot of gravel on and by them. I pulled in somewhere real fast after that since I couldn't stop laughing. I wish i had a rear camera I would of had it recorded.

I have one of those double cameras mounted on my kitty to record peoples reactions in the punisher

It records the road and their face at the same time! It also does it in PiP which is really cool. I was given it free from a friend for just having the punisher................ anyway It has one main Camera & 1 smaller camera which plugs in to it.
It can record Her bouncing as you drive too hehehe!!!

Where is the video? That is too cool. I need that!
