I wouldn’t even call it fancy..

Tell me what this does mechanically that is different from a 23 Redeye that I build with my specs?
What mechanical differences are there between the Dodge Daytona and the Dodge Charger? Likewise what mechanical differences are there between the Plymouth Superbird and the Plymouth Road Runner? Even the less desirable 440 vs the Hemi in the Daytona and the Superbird bring big money. The difference is the Daytona and the Superbird have an appearance package, body parts and stickers. If there are other differences let me know. The Black Ghost also has an appearance package, lettering, unique roof and rear stripe. Most people thought the Daytona and Superbird were ugly with the high rear spoiler and big nose. Likewise some people think the Black Ghost roof is ugly. The Black Ghost has the Demon engine and differential without the Demon race gas tune that most people don’t use anyway. The Black Ghost is similar to the 440 Daytona and Superbird and is produced in the final year while the Demon is not.

Demons are one-of-a-kind... great, great drag car.
But for the street nothing compares to the Black Ghost. I don't know anyone that wouldn't trade their HC in a heartbeat for one... if they could get it at MSRP.

Also, I doubt any Demon went for 100k ADM when they first came out as the Ghosts are.
More PUMP and DUMP nonsense from gocat...:ROFLMAO:

^ You’d be right except i’ve spent dozens if not hundreds of hours trying to snag a Ghost. Thought i got one (even sold my 17 cat to catch the price height of the market ) … but Ghost fell out. Possibly another but $$$$$$ over list… not sure if it’s feasible. But…. I firmly believe the upside on the Ghost will only be surpassed by #7. The Demon far behind in 3rd. (3000 way too common). As i contend, if we’re being honest, no true muscle car enthusiast would ever turn the Ghost down.
Dude you have one of these alligator sticker cars coming...cut the crap...PUMP AND DUMP....

Demon out performed every other mass produced car when released at a lower investment initially. BG not so much. Demon could be had at MSRP (again BG not so much) and has doubled into mostly sub 200k territory which is an easier market to dabble in than the 300-900k that you're hoping for the BG to turn into. Imagine being the guy who spends 150-175k on a car that does nothing better than or even as good as a Demon. Def risky imo. Will the rarity and stickers outweigh the fact that the same brand made a better performing car prior and be worth 300-900k down the road? Rare yes, but is that enough to become a 300-900k car with no performance dominance in it's segment? So many questions...
10x MSRP? C'mon man.
Look at the Hellcat Daytona. 500 made. Regular HC is the same car w/o the stickers. Three yrs in and the Daytona is not worth much more if at all.
What about the orange King Daytona? Stickers and paint there too...no GIANT APPRECIATION there?

And what's the mechanical difference between a demon and a jailbreak/redeye/superstock?

The demon is worth big bucks because of the exclusivity. Not the software that allows for race gas and a crate with skinny tires.

Wrong. the demon was an instant GOAT because it was FIRST in MANY ways...look it up...and the FASTEST 1/4 mile car on earth...

Guess I will put some stickers on my Redeye, BAM, now it’s worth 200k! Point being it’s no different than any other Redeye and definitely not worth the crazy adm in my opinion. Same thing with the

Amusing.

Let's deal with facts. Shall we, gentlemen?

Huntington Beach Dodge (one of the savviest dealers in the nation - still has 12 brand new Demons for sale @250k each).
What a Black Ghost? No problem. That will be 1,000.000.00 thank you.

Go ahead. Call. Ask for he General sales manager. And please DO report back here.

*I cannot argue against the logic of a "sticker" car going for such big bucks. So what are people missing? The pump priming impact of the Black Ghost being the last of it's kind. End of the road. No more. Nada. And, it has the best story of all.

With the release of #7, Demons will fall (in fact, Westbrook Dodge asked if I would still be interested in their primo Black Demon for 129) but I don't think it will impact the Ghost nearly as much. Again, please call and report back.
"Still" 12 Demons after 5 years at $250,000 a pop. Gee, I wonder why he "still" has 12 of them. He will still have the Black Ghost after 5 years at $1,000,000 lol.

For the street the Redeye is just as good and the SS is better. As for the ADM anyone who pays a $100K over MSRP for any car is insane let alone a Redeye with stickers.

"At least 7 times this year, someone driving a black Dodge Charger that’s almost certainly an SRT model of some sort has outdriven Arkansas State Police, slipping away into the night. The driver will shut off all the lights and literally just disappear. Since this doesn’t happen so often, there are all kinds of theories about who’s doing this and why."..........We've seen this guy a lot haven't we?

How is the SS better than a red eye on the street? SS=strip. Red eye=street.
The SS has the same suspension as the Redeye for street performance, but has the drag settings like the Demon for the strip so it is the best of both. The SS also has slightly more power, and is lighter than the Redeye. The SS is better than the Redeye all around on the street and strip, but not by much.

Don't forget that if you do drive it like a RE you will burning through tires the way a baby burns through diapers. RE still better on the street. SS for racing at the track Re for between stop signs.

I never realized the redeye jailbreaks were so dismissed…. At least by many on this forum.

I guess 807 is no big thing compared to the 1000hp Alpha Challenger being introduced March 20.

For that matter, i suppose the 840 Demons will be a yawn as well. I don’t get it.
