I am currently here doing the 3 day driving school at Radford Racing (Formerly Bondurant) in Chandler Arizona. I truly recommend anyone with a Hellcat attend this school. They teach you the basics for driving but most importantly they teach with a purpose that when you drive these cars you are able to push them to their limits. This is something I have not been able to do with my Hellcat on my local streets. Once on the track it is impressive to push the Redeye Hellcat to it's limits, handling, traction & speed. It is a heavy vehicle but performs well. The instructors are great. I got to meet several of the shop mechanics as they have an entire fleet of vehicles and mechanics who service the cars during our lunch break and after each day of pushing the vehicle.

Today Radofrd sent out 25% off, but the website is down for now. They will work with you on a discount as well as setting up any package you want. Also any new Hellcat owner can attend a 1 day for free or use the 1 day credit to attend more days.

I am truly impressed and feel I have learned so much valuable information that I will use in my Hellcat as well as my daily driving.

Factory tires!!! They only change brake pads & fluid. These cars can take constant abuse!
They do run them with black key, but they are still beasts! I would have loved to take my car on that track!

If you don’t mind me asking, what did you pay for the 3 day school?

Cool, I guess the Pirelli P Zero summer tires of course, back before the Widebody and I guess partly because of the Goodyear sponsorship they ran the 285/35-20 F1 summers on the stock 20x9.5 wheels.

Brakes are Power-Stop.
I heard they were the Track Day pads.

Power Stop was a sponsor at the time, they were Power Stop. The exercise where the traffic light turned at the last second to designate lane selection was challenging. Also, following instructions closely was key to successful runs.

Curious. When I attended the one day class last year we had to use the black fobs, limiting us to 500 HP. Do they take off that restriction after the first day and let you drive with the red fob? Or did you mean push to the limit in another performance aspect?

In the third pic, you remind me of Mike Rowe from dirtiest jobs. Btw that’s a compliment cause he’s a cool conservative dude. Glad you had fun. Dodge emails me invites but they’re always full up when I go to open it.

That would be lame AF and would have ZERO interest in participating if that was the case. Thats like the dumbest thing ive ever heard smh.

You can't hardly keep the car on the track even with 500 HP. You will be pushing your limits as well as the car, tires, etc. Honestly the track is so full of turns & curves you have little time to build up speed. Around 82mph was our top speed on straightaway & then there was a super sharp turn. Even with ONLY 500 hp you are pushing the front tires. It's a total blast.

Well, don't make any plans on attending....half the people there can't drive it with the black key. You do learn a lot about "crash avoidance" and how to car steers into and out of corners. Believe me, if they allowed most folks to use the red key....they wouldn't have any cars left.

You do get to ride with a professional driver at the end and he has the full power and it's fantastic.

I loved it even with the black key....but, I only drive mine with Red.

I asked the guy they paired me with what year his Hellcat was and he said "I don't have a Hellcat, my wife bought me this course as a Christmas present" he had never driven a hellcat or anything with any power.

He was a nice old guy, but he would have struggled in Valet Mode....he scared me to death with the black key.

For some reason I thought you had to own a Hellcat, I had no clue anybody could just do it.

Anyway, driving the 3 laps with the professional driver using full HP is unbelievable. Those drivers know where that backend is at all times, it's impressive to feel what the car can do with the right person driving.

Remember the lead-follow part? Instructor scolded me. Said “follow”, don’t try to out drive me. I didn’t want to fall behind so i guess i hounded him just a bit. You’ll be better with your car when you leave than when you got there.
