Yep, I have all my CD"s from back in the day stored on a flashdrive. Definitely sounds good and you can pretty much turn the volume up to near full and it's clear and loud. On a side note, apparently if you upload the player pro app to you phone and upload your music to it and connect with bluetooth, you can get even better sound and adjustability with the EQ on it to really dial things in and get even clearer and louder music. I have this on my phone but have yet to download music to it to take advantage. I need to try it out.I tried a flash drive loaded with music in hellcat what a difference it made to the sound with the Harmen system 10

You want FLAC format for best fidelity (lossless in this case) and ID3 support. (WAV is also lossless, but lacks support for embedded metadata like song name and artist). What's a good program to copy your cd's to a flash drive?

What would be the difference?I know bluetooth and/or using the usb connection makes a huge difference as opposed to FM/XM. I've never done the flash drive in a vehicle. All of my music is through my phone, other than XM.
What would be the difference?
