Late to this party, never thought I'd be in a position to be able to look into purchasing a cat but here I am...right when it's the worst possible time to try and do so. Tons of great info on these forums so I'm already thankful, now to see if I can actually find a car!

Ha! Not a better choice for me, wife says no baby on the roof so I need seats back there.

Charger for me, in an ideal world a RE but the way things are right now it's more about just getting any.

Have a local dealer telling me they still have a JB allocation. What do y'all think? Those still exist or is this BS? No way to actually verify this as far as I know.
Call his bluff. Place an order lol. It’s only going to get worse as time passes.

Welcome to the forum and glad you joined us. First, you must be willing to travel. Second, do your homework you can still find some fair deals out there if you look. Good Luck! BTW where are you from?

Just be patient. There’s a Hellcat out there for everyone searching. If not, they’re still building them.😁. Call that dealers bluff and try ordering a JB. You should find out fairly quickly if he’s got an allocation. The good deals are still out there. I got a great deal on my Redeye from Koons but a local guy got an even better deal on my 2015 Hellcat the day after I picked up my Redeye.😉

Good luck! What you looking for specifically?

Also, be prepared for Xylander to write you a few paragraphs telling you why the C8 is a better choice.
It's not so much a direct comparison. A C8 isn't for everybody. I just use the C8 as a comparison because it's my personal experience when comparing what you get for the money. I've owned 2 $80k+ Hellcats and I've bought 2 C8s (still waiting on the 2nd to show up). With the C8, I feel like I'm getting 100k worth of a car in terms of modern amenities. I can't say the same about my Hellcats. There's nothing bad to be said about the HC's powertrain and performance for what it is. My beef has always been with the Walmart grade amenities.

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed to see a single paragraph. I really hope you somehow end up with a HC again, just so I can see you put that intelligence to use praising HC and knocking C8‘s. Though your not wrong about the interior.

Not likely going to happen. Never say never, but the 3LT C8 is definitely going to happen because I got rid of the Lotus (needed way too much work) and am in desperate need of a track car. I am relatively certain that I won't get a 2023 Dodge (and I never buy used HCs). If the 2023 Chrysler 300C turns out to be a HC powered vehicle, you might see me try and get one of those as a semi investment purchase. But I am not going to spend $100k on a Dodge.

Hiya, Texas. I've been talking with a localish dealer. Really a pain not knowing how much a dealer may be straight up lying, but we'll see. I've got an order in but I figure if I don't have a VIN before too much longer it's not gonna happen.

As far as price goes, sure, 90k+ at the end of the day isn't very fun but it is what it is. I'm here to have fun with my overpowered rwd car and all of its crappy plastic and I accept that I gotta pay more now :).
