Might be a stupid question but..... you have both Red ad Black FOBS in your pocket on the way home from the dealer. Manual states the Cat will default to the Red FOB mode. You want to behave yourself on the break-in period.... so you want to place it in Black mode, but you still have both FOBS in you pocket. How do you get it in "safe mode" ? I can only reason that you enter the interface and manually select the 500 hp mode and street settings...
Any thoughts?

I figured you had to enter the manual mode......Oops, time to go to work, thanks for the reply.
( It will take time to get used to all the options, my 11SRT only gave you the ESC option, On or Off......they have come along way)

The engine has already be broken in on the dyno before installation. It is ran at 90% load for 42 minutes, so you should be good to go other than burnishing your brakes.

there's valet mode you can lock it down with a 4 digit PIN and use that until you unlock it as well.

remember, if ya leave it at a shop somewhere, all they need to do is unhook the battery for a few min to delete the the valet modes use

true but we could always install a battery backup hidden elsewhere or better yet not leave it at a shop unless they sign papers that they are going to carry the bill if anything is abused on the car. :)

just 1 of each
I read two red and one black somewhere. Not that I need two red, mostly I just want to know where my spare red key is when I can't find the one I am using. The black key will sit in a drawer. NO ONE is driving my car except the SRT Service Tech with my supervision! ;)

Who's leaving it. If my car needs to be in the shop for the whole day, that is a sick day for me (family leave) LOL

Okay. I have confirmed from the owners manual, page 13. You get two red and one black.

You might be right. I don't believe anything now until I see hellcats at the dealership with pics
