They would block the intercooler for one side and oil cooler on the other, that was the original reason given by SRT.

no but I would still like to have them....main reason is for looks but really dont matter. On my scat pack I have oracle lights installed the headlights and fogs and they just look better. Dont give darn about whether it's foggy or not but a little more Light would be ok

I believe it will interfere with certain cooling aspects of the car and designed that way to have more air flow.
With modern LED lights which can be smol and kompact, they could put teardrop-shaped lights out a bit from grille face or faces to offer no impediment to airflow through the coolers.

Like those gigantic old Pro Stock hood scoops that added NO measurable drag, mainly because they were in front of the windshield (saw an article where they measured with and without one) a small, streamlined light housing out in front of the grille(s) would have no measurable deleterious effect on cooler airflow. The lazy, conventional, "light nestled in the nearest hole or depression like bird's egg in the bottom of its nest" WOULD block airflow.

Having it teardrop-shaped AND with airflow-conforming cooling fins would be even better.

Having a streamlined object in front of a big, blunt object will often not negatively effect airflow, which is one reason when drag is measured, frontal area is taken into account. Anything that does not add any new frontal area will affect drag less dramatically than something adding new frontal area.

Totally agree. Something could have been done if Dodge wanted to. Good observation.

I always lined the road lamps that were on the early Cudas but I’m not willing to sacrifice cooling.
