Dodge Hellcat Widebody Kit Now Available For All Late Challengers
If you want a widebody Challenger, there are many routes you can take to make that a reality. Now, one of them is an official widebody kit from Dodge itself.

Try to keep your envy in check!Absolutely do not want a car that looks like it came out of a 70s JC Whitney catalog.
Cute little saying, but you know it's not true lol. I've had both. Hands down the WB is badderasser lol.Absolutely do not want a car that looks like it came out of a 70s JC Whitney catalog.
My 2003 Nissan Frontier has flares. The wide body looks good but they should have molded the flares into the body.![]()

Lol I used to think that too until I saw renderings. TBH it looks horrible. Was surprised. My 2003 Nissan Frontier has flares. The wide body looks good but they should have molded the flares into the body.
Exactly not a fan of the truck flares either, but to each his own.My 2003 Nissan Frontier has flares. The wide body looks good but they should have molded the flares into the body.
So why didn't they make the Demon a NB? Not really debating here. Just curious if what you say is true, then wouldn't the Demon be a standard body?LOL envy. I think if I wanted that option I could’ve pushed that option button. Plus WB are notoriously slower than NB in 1/4. Extra weight and no 3.09 gear I’m gonna pass. Not going to pay more for a slower car.
My guess is a clash between the styling crew at FIAT and SRT who wanted to build a drag car. If the style is a performance advantage why haven’t the Drag Pak cars gone to this look? You know what wins on Sunday is supposed to sell on Monday. They got it right with the 1320 Challengers IMO & would have loved to see a Hellcat powered version. So why didn't they make the Demon a NB? They needed the flares for the wider wheel/tire combo for the increased torque/hp, wouldn't pass certification with tires extending beyond the wheel well/body.So why didn't they make the Demon a NB?
