I finally pulled the trigger and bought a complete Fore dual pump set up from tapp performance. Let’s see how long this “plug n play” system takes me to install.

Do you need to re-tune after fuel pump work?

I wonder how many people on here have made these posts with parts on a table, but never actually installed them......

No retune needed, the 2 pumps will now just follow the original pressure command but now have extra flow capacity behind them when needed. ie if single pump needed to run at 80% duty cycle (89% is max, no idea why not 100% but 89% is max) new double pumps may only need to run at 55% duty cycle to maintain the “Desired Pressure” the computer is set to maintain.

I wish the plug & play system was around a few years ago, I have the injected engineering kit (smaller pumps, no external filter, splicing, same concept). Instructions were lacking big time

Running 93 octane gasoline at the moment here in PA on a flex tune, alcohol % went from reading 9-11% E to 0%, I thought it wasn’t reading right, tested the fuel with a electronic tester, 0% Ethanol in the fuel!! Seems they don’t even have enough to blend into gasoline of late, maybe that’s helping drive up the cost of gasoline.

Well after 2 weeks here's the update. It took me about 5 or so hours to install, it was more than straight forward as tapp's guide installation video and pdf make it a breeze to go through it. I did have a helping hand as my kid kept coming into the garage because his ipad kept dying and that just prolonged a lot of things. Car started up after the install and no tune was needed.. currently running 91 but have a e85 gas station in my city. I would rate this plug an play 9.5/10
The next feat is going to replace my current coolant pump with an aftermarket one.

sorry I didn't have notifications on, so I just thought no one was interested in my thread. I will be replying later tmr or tuesday with a full photo break down of what I had to do and did. hopefully that helps.

The worst part I found with the fore hat install was disconnecting the stock fuel feed line from the stock pump and not dropping the little o rings in the tank
