Hey guys, anyone have the part numbers for the 4 pot brembos for the front of the car along with 1 piece rotor? Trying to shave more weight off the front of the car. It’s diet time!

I read something about Demon that said they saved 16 lbs on the front. The Demon used an aluminum 4 caliper that was not used again until 2021.

Up thru 2020 (except Demon) the caliper weights between 4 and 6 was about the same due to the heavy iron caliper on the 4, roughly 12 lbs ea. The 6 caliper all aluminum.

The 6 rotors were 4 lbs heavier at about 31 lbs than the 4 rotors at 27 lbs.

In 2021 the 4 caliper was changed to aluminum monoblock (same as Demon) and it was lighter, not sure how much, maybe 4-5 lbs? Dodge or somebody said 8 lighter, don't know sounds too light but maybe.

Also in 2021, the 6 rotors got bigger so maybe a pound more weight.

The 2020 Super Stock was the only Hellcat to use the heavy iron 4 calipers.

So the lightest 4 caliper compared to the current bigger 6 rotor setup, you might have 5-6 lbs per wheel or just go with the 16 lbs number that was posted.

Putting a 4 pound heavier caliper on these cars does less to et than adding a alum rivet to a bike

Also, doesn’t one usually stand on a scale before starting a diet? So they have a baseline. A starting point. Ya get those at the TRACK rofl

Until you try to slow down a 4,500+ lb car, on skinnies, after trapping 145+ on a track with a short shutdown area. Then you'll wish you had ALL the brakes. Or a parachute. Or both.

It won’t be 4500lbs at that point? And you put the car in neutral. I’ve tracked the car before, no issues stopping it. Also, trapping 145mph? That’s 8’s territory in these cars (since they can actually get a good 60’), not going that fast
