When my better half and I where out for a cruse Saturday we ran into a writer for Hot Rod. He told me that the way the splitter is mounted that if you hit a parking curb that it will buckle the front fender. I just wanted to pass that along.
Definitely reason to back it up in a parking space if feasible. Helps make use of that backup camera. When my better half and I where out for a cruse Saturday we ran into a writer for Hot Rod. I am going to order the guards and mud flaps....Thanks for reminding meif you tear your splitter off your bumper at all your whole bumper is trashed...its what happened when i put mine in the ditch....i really didnt damage my bumper at all.....just the splitter....but because it tore off a mounting bracket off the bumper i needed a new bumper
your going to scrape your splitter on the ground...100% chance of it.....i have the zl1 splitter guards for that....as far as a direct hit to a curb you just need to park 2' away from everything
