I bought a scat pack a few years ago and fell in love with mopar. I never thought I would have hellcat though. Once I got the scat pack, I knew I had to have more. I did some wheelin and dealin at car dealerships with several trades in between, and here we are almost 5 years after that scat pack purchase and finally got it. I am pumped, and can't wait to learn more about these beasts.

Beautiful car, how many miles are on it? What are your other plans?
Thanks. It's got 4016 miles on it. I'm not sure where I'm going to continue, or what my exact plans are, or if I will ever be "done." It looks like there are tons of options, so for now, I'm just going to drive it and enjoy the the hell out of it. Pun intended.

I highly recommend the do-it-now-so-you-can-enjoy-the-benefits-for-years things:
Amsoil for all fluids, of course.
Very good ceramic coating applied to body, brake calipers, wheels
As many different brands of wheel locks as you do not regard as overkill. I use 3 different on each wheel. (3 sets of different brands)
K and N or other brand you like high-flow air filter
Super magnets (preferably flat bar type magnetized north-south through the skinny, flat side) to put on and reuse on your oil filter(s) (KJ Magnetics is the brand I found)
Super magnet drain and fill plugs for your engine, oil cooler, transmission, and rear axle
You will have no regrets from any of these things at all.

I run pure propylene glycol coolant and no pressure (rad caps just sit loosely on the tanks,) but you are on warranty, so you may prefer to leave water and pressurized rad caps on your system.

Wow, 3 different locks. That's gnarly. Thanks for all the advice. I am having a stripe battle with myself. I like them, but they have water spots all over them that don't go away, so unless there's a way to bring them back to their former glory, I may remove them. Definitely doing a ceramic coat next. Didn't think about coating the wheels. Sounds like a good idea. Thanks again.

No need to do the wheels if you swap the pads. They dont even get dirty after that. If you dont swap the pads all the coating in the world wont save you lol. It’ll make it easier to clean but you’ll still be cleaning them after every drive. Pad swap eliminates roughly 99% of it. Just a tip.

What pads would you recommend? I've always known ceramic to be the best for next to no dust, but I wasn't sure how the rotors would do with ceramic pads.

I've gone with Power Stops with my last three Challengers now with no issues. Great for the street. I wouldnt road course them though. The majority of us who have used them have had no issues. A few people have said they got fade but I would suspect they were really heating them up. Ive had no fade on any of mine and initial bite is still great too. Highly recommend.

Sounds great. RockAuto has those for a great price. Thanks again.
