Nice Cat. I am tired of the game too but being in Michigan, I can wait a few more months. Not happy about it, but hope I can get a VIN soon. I will hold out forall the options I want, and at msrp.. I don't blame anyone who can use the car in the winter months, for buying them off the showroom floor above msrp. Just not my deal. If however, the spring comes and I am on the outside looking in, I am gone, long gone, and will never look back at Chrysler again. It has been 3 months and Chrysler has not attemped to repair the process or let their customers know that they are aware of the customers dilema. Too bad Chrysler, this could be a defining moment in the rebirth of a great American corporation. Hope you enjoyed your bailout from these same people that you are letting flop in the breeze!

Hang in there, I would also try another dealer, cant hurt trying, having your name on the list at a few dealers
Got my name with 2 right now. Sorry about my weekly rant, just that seeing all these Christmas bows on cars and getting car things for Christmas with people asking when are you getting your car, kind of Rubs salt in the wound

im thinking of hunting down a dealer car.. i WAS willing to pay over to order my car but i might as well use that money to walk in and purchase off the floor.
why wait at least several more months to get my order picked up, when i can just go buy one now.? hmmm:cool:
Maybe you are in with the Jan allocation. If you do go look, I would think the northern states might have more cars sitting as a lot of people won't use them as daily drivers. I was watching Mecum and I could have bought a 71 Cuda 340 and a 2006 C6 Vette for the price of my Hellcat

Abe, Dont let this fluster you listening to all these stories, I bet half of them are not true or they are spending way over msrp. You Dont need it before spring anyway right??

Hey bfusion, read my reply to Resumespeeds comments on page 210 of the article "Breaking News"... I think you'll agree and even have a comment of your own...
I do and I did, but my comments went straight to Chrysler. I told them what I thought and how I felt they were mistreating their customers and that they needed to monitor Hellcat.ORG to see how things have turned the last 2 months. I sent it to the SRT group. I need a good email address so I can unload

This is true, but spring is a long time to wait for open sales with only a VON... doesnt look like my dealer ever had a single allocation..
This process is totally screwed, the dealer took your $10K knowing full well he couldn't get you one. I am going to give my dealer / customer 1 more chance then i may have to go to the other dealer. He has been a customer for about 8 years, at least I owe him that. Honestly though, I am not near as excited as I was in Sept and Oct.. That's just how it goes.

bfusion;
Your've been on this site a few more days than I. You have good judgement, so trust your instinct. As far as Chrysler:

Remember, back in Sept/Oct I sent a pointed e-mail to Kristin Starnes about our feelings about the "Allotment
Philosophy" from Tim K. I asked her to forward to Tim....
Long story short, never heard from them..... sort of like the dysfunctional VOTS system....:p:p:p
BTW.... I noticed they took down the e-mail addresses for the contacts on their site...I wonder why?...;);)...too many piss** off Mopar owners......
I hate to be on this forum full of bitterness and distrust. I don't believe I am this way in real life. My frustration level is beyond anything I have felt in recent years. I must decide to put up and shut up, or get out of the game. Sorry you people have had to hear me *****, but I was kind of hoping Chrysler was monitoring this site and might do something. It isclear to me now that they aren't or they just don't care. Either way, it is not good for us that remain, waiting on an order to be filled

Well, I'm also waiting on what GM will announce in terms of the new Gen 6 Camaro.....and if there is a ZL1 in the mix.
If I am still on hold here, that may be an option for me as my current car (which I will be trading in) is a 2014 Camaro SS.

Very nice, can a guy 6'6" and about 275-280 fit in it? That's the good thing about the Challenger

Well, interior is smaller than the Challenger for sure. I'm no where near your size but at 6' 210lbs plus I wear an above knee prosthetic left leg due to a motorcycle accident 30yrs ago, I need plenty of room to get in/out of any vehicle. I can do so fine in the Camaro.
Thanks for the info, guess the only way to know is to go try. That's kind of why I was thinking a CTS-V also. They have plenty of room

I did take a 2015 R/T for a test drive, it was a pretty good fit with no sunroof. Sometimes the sunroof cuts into the headroom a bit. It's funny in my C3 Vette, my head is above the windshield unless I cop a lean. My others Vette's were ragtops and had much more room even with the top up. Sometimes a pain being tall(and fat).;)
