this is what im going to do, im simply waiting until they are selling at msrp this way.

your order may take until summer or never be picked up......in a few months those still waiting will just buy one off the lot and F their ordered cars...this is why i wont order from Dodge again...ordered cars are last, dealer cars are first
Huggytree..can one really differentiate between a dealer order vs other order...ie...can you tell me the difference ?

Abe, Dont let this fluster you listening to all these stories, I bet half of them are not true or they are spending way over msrp. You Dont need it before spring anyway right??
This is true, but spring is a long time to wait for open sales with only a VON... doesnt look like my dealer ever had a single allocation..

That's a score from the red (green) line nicely done. I keep calling deals around NYC area but nothing, all sold. Meanwhile I await with one on order no VON or VIN yet but it's only been 2 weeks.

Hey bfusion, read my reply to Resumespeeds comments on page 210 of the article "Breaking News"... I think you'll agree and even have a comment of your own...

I do and I did, but my comments went straight to Chrysler. I told them what I thought and how I felt they were mistreating their customers and that they needed to monitor Hellcat.ORG to see how things have turned the last 2 months. I sent it to the SRT group. I need a good email address so I can unload

in 2011 when the 392 1st came out all the IE guys ordered cars 3 months ahead of time......the dealerships started getting cars for their showrooms weeks ahead of most of those ordered cars.....i checked many vin #'s and noticed dealer cars were typically shipped within 1 week while most ordered cars sat for 4-5 weeks....mine took 8 weeks to arrive......i got sick of it and went to a dealership and just bought one.....saved $2,500 off my ordered car too......id say 1/2 of the IE guys online did the same

not sure this time with the HC if there is such a thing as a dealer showroom car...sounds like most/all are dealers who lied about having a customer?? then put it on their showroom floor....not sure if this is true or not.......all i can say is i see tons of guys here with cars sitting in Canada for 4-6 weeks and i see 150 dealer cars sitting on the showroom floor.....looks exactly the same as 2011

thats why im not bothering to order......in a few months ill just drive and pick one up...no stress, no irriatation, no daily asking RS if my car is still parked in Canada

it took 2 weeks for my IE to ship by train from Canada to WI....i always joke i could have pushed the car from Canada to WI faster than that train could deliver it.

Congratulations !
My wife just ordered sublime at MSRP and order confirmed.
I ordered 11/4 and it is D-1 so should be built any day they restart at the plant.
After all I have read here, I think finding a large forthright dealer who has allocations will sell at MSRP ....I found two in Detroit Metro, with two phone calls.
Wow that's fast, ordered mine 11-13 and sales rep told me April May delivery.

This process is totally screwed, the dealer took your $10K knowing full well he couldn't get you one. I am going to give my dealer / customer 1 more chance then i may have to go to the other dealer. He has been a customer for about 8 years, at least I owe him that. Honestly though, I am not near as excited as I was in Sept and Oct.. That's just how it goes.

Your've been on this site a few more days than I. You have good judgement, so trust your instinct. As far as Chrysler:

Remember, back in Sept/Oct I sent a pointed e-mail to Kristin Starnes about our feelings about the "Allotment
Philosophy" from Tim K. I asked her to forward to Tim....
Long story short, never heard from them..... sort of like the dysfunctional VOTS system....:p:p:p
BTW.... I noticed they took down the e-mail addresses for the contacts on their site...I wonder why?...;);)...too many piss** off Mopar owners......

Got tired of the allocatetion game ,
So I went proactive and bought one off the lot today !!
I will pick it up in the morning .pad a 4k over MSRP . But with having 6k down with 2 outher dealers with no vin and returnable deposits I declare this a WIN.
Gonna be fun however it was acquired! Enjoy it, it's all yours!! Jim

I hate to be on this forum full of bitterness and distrust. I don't believe I am this way in real life. My frustration level is beyond anything I have felt in recent years. I must decide to put up and shut up, or get out of the game. Sorry you people have had to hear me *****, but I was kind of hoping Chrysler was monitoring this site and might do something. It isclear to me now that they aren't or they just don't care. Either way, it is not good for us that remain, waiting on an order to be filled

Well, I'm also waiting on what GM will announce in terms of the new Gen 6 Camaro.....and if there is a ZL1 in the mix.
If I am still on hold here, that may be an option for me as my current car (which I will be trading in) is a 2014 Camaro SS.

Very nice, can a guy 6'6" and about 275-280 fit in it? That's the good thing about the Challenger

Well, interior is smaller than the Challenger for sure. I'm no where near your size but at 6' 210lbs plus I wear an above knee prosthetic left leg due to a motorcycle accident 30yrs ago, I need plenty of room to get in/out of any vehicle. I can do so fine in the Camaro.

Thanks for the info, guess the only way to know is to go try. That's kind of why I was thinking a CTS-V also. They have plenty of room
