GM just announced that the new CTS-V will come with the SC LT4 engine, rated at 640HP for the Caddy. If they do something similar for the new Camaro ZL1 - things will get interesting.

unless you like your seat pushed back you may not fit in the Challenger either...my head touches the ceiling in my 2011 w/ sunroof....i like to sit straight up though...not slouched way back......im thinking the HC seats may be lower than normal srt's....i actually have more head room in the Recaros in my Mustang than in my 2011 SRT..
being 280lbs...yea the Challenger is probably the best for your weight....
I did take a 2015 R/T for a test drive, it was a pretty good fit with no sunroof. Sometimes the sunroof cuts into the headroom a bit. It's funny in my C3 Vette, my head is above the windshield unless I cop a lean. My others Vette's were ragtops and had much more room even with the top up. Sometimes a pain being tall(and fat).
Hey Cal45, I've been telling everybody that Dodge had better get it together because Ford and GM are coming! From what were hearing in and around Detroit from insiders at Ford is that they will announce a 2016 Shelby GT 500 (sometime this summer) that will be mass produced from the factory (not Shelby) and it is rumored to have around 725 to 745HP... This will definitely sway a lot of pissed off Hellcat people.. GM will follow with an announcement on the Camaro ZL1 as well... Take this to the bank!... Shame on Chrysler for not capitalizing on what they have... Just sayin
I agree there are going to be some awesome 2016 cars coming out in the beginning of 2015 got me thinking that Dodge can turn up the HC if needed to top the HP wars. Could get interesting
Congrats on an awesome looking Cat. That's currently the color I ordered, but I may reconsider according to RS's post stating Sublime is the highest color of Cats produced to date. May have to switch to TorRed or Tri-coat Red. Regardless, I think Sublime is an amazing color.

$4k over was my magic number as well on a in-stock unit out of a small dealer in NY. My MSRP deal with Bob Frederick was taking too long and when he told me next spring was the likely timing I cancelled my order and paid the extra dough. It was worth my sanity. He was great and returned my deposit the next day. My new Cat is in transit to Vegas now.
My $4K over Cat. Phantom with black/red interior, red belts, 8-speed auto and Navi. It's on its way to Vegas now. I already ordered the Mickey Thompson Street Radials so I'll take off the stock back tires as soon as it arrives just to save them from a spinning/burning death.

1. I thought the same thing to save the stock rear tires for the fronts or
2. Just melt them off in a week to get that out of my system
BTW Phantom Black is a awesome color my 2010 Ram is almost the same love the metallic in it Congrats I would jump on one in stock for 4k over if it was the color I wanted 4 sure!!!

My question is did you have that one on order?
I had a granite with black satin hood with Sepia on order. After I ordered I wasn't sure if a flat painted hood was what I wanted. The all Phantom Black with black/red was a close second or maybe a tie so I am happy with no regrets.
