Hi All,

Having successfully debadged most of my DDHC, the only remaining piece is the badge on the grille. Does anyone know if the "SRT Hellcat" grille badge is removable or would removing the badge leave a blank spot? If so, would an RT/GT grille fit? Ideally, I would get the regular SRT grille so the mesh matches but I think removing the "SRT" badge from that grille might also leave a blank area in place of the badge?

Any help is appreciated. As you can tell, I am going for a "sleeper" look without any hellcat badges.

yea you're gonna fool about 0 people with trying to debadge a HC to make it a sleeper.

Only thing you can do to hustle people with a HC is preach it being stock and having an incognito lower or something, but even then you're not gonna have such a jump in power/speed to classify as a sleeper..

Even though the DDHC looks nearly identical to all other Durangos (annoying as hell), anyone with a clue will see it doesn't have fog lights which all other Durangos do. Not to mention the sound.

I still don't get the whole debadge thing. What do you hope to accomplish by doing this? Is it to trick someone into racing you that wouldn't normally race you? So what. They'll know after the race (or should I say after the first 100 ft) Is it to cheat someone out of their money by fooling them? I hope it's not one of the things I just mentioned because that sounds just plain stupid!

All my badges came off for PPF except the badge on the grille. I chose to keep them of as I have no desire for unwanted attention from cops or morons. I may or may not take the grille badge off. People who know what to look for can tell what it is. I don't street race so that wasn't the motivation for me.

You will fool almost everyone tbh. There will be a very, and I mean very small number of people who would ever know it's a HCD. Most people dont know what that SC sound is. The ones who know will know anyway. Dodge did a piss poor job of differentiating it and in this case it will benefit OP and anyone else wanting to fly under the radar.

I don't disagree with you, but I'm also not that bothered by it enough to be motivated to remove it. Maybe one day when I have some extra time I may take it off.

Debadged == less jerks to deal with in traffic or checking out the vehicle in a parking lot. (That got old after a few weeks) I replaced the rear with a "FORE" since a golfer.

Cleaner ain't meaner. It does look plain without the crazy cat logo. Maybe you could wrap it so it looks like a Camry! Replace the hood with a flat hood for an even cleaner look.
