Hello everyone and happy new year! Hope your holidays were enjoyable. This is just a quick note to let you know that planning for the GTALX 2022 event, benefitting Peel Children's Aid Foundation has officially started. The good news is that it seems there are no gathering restrictions to Brampton event spaces outdoors so unless there are some drastic events that would warrant a change in the rules, the event at this time should be considered 100% on and will go rain or shine. We will provide future updates periodically and the registration site will be available in March sometime. If you or someone you know would like to donate a prize to use in the raffle, please feel free to PM me.

Hello everyone and happy Friday! We're happy to announce that registration for the GTALx Mopar charity/ social event 2022 benefitting Peel Children’s Aid is now open! By filling out the form, you'll be helping with food and space planning. Please use this link - https://arcg.is/14ziX8
There is no cost to attend this Mopar charity event other than the park admission cost. Park admission fees can be viewed here - https://trca.ca/parks/heart-lake-conservation-area/...
Registration will close on June 1 and we will also have a prize draw at the event, selecting one name from the people who have registered. If you miss registration, don't worry. Just show up!
Additionally, if you want to arrive in town on the Friday, we have made arrangements at the Courtyard Marriott Brampton. The discounted rate will be CAD$119 + tax per night and the contact there is Nasir Jamil.

Raffle tickets will be sold at the event (cash, debit, credit accepted) for a chance to win the other prize bundles! BBQ food service will be available as will an ice cream truck. If you're a Mopar owner, hope you can make the event. Weather will be nice so bring your sunscreen, bug spray, comfy lawn chair and come spend a day with us in a park!

The 2022 GTALX event, sponsored by Authentic Performance, was a resounding success! After a 2 year absence, old friends were reunited and new friends made. People travelled from as far as Windsor, Detroit and north of Sudbury to participate and we are truly grateful that you made the trip. The weather was beautiful and of the 115 cars that registered, we had 115 or slightly more show up. What made the event truly successful was that a total of just over $4K was raised for Peel Children's Aid Foundation. An incredible accomplishment because, while we did not raise as much as the $4770 in 2019, we raised the $4K with 100 LESS cars than in 2019! Thank you to all of the Mopar owners and companions who showed up to create an incredibly wonderful and memorable day! Your generosity is what makes these events consistently successful and an enjoyable experience for all who attend. Thanks to all of the volunteers, the staff of Fireitup Bbqcatering and the staff Heart Lake Conservation Area who prepared the site and serviced it during the event. You were a very important part of the day’s success!
