My car is very difficult to start when is hot is struggles to start up but if I leave it sitting for half an hour then it will start. I’ve taken it to the dealership and they can’t seem to understand the problem

There's another thread on this issue. Might be a Hot Soak Issue and fuel pressure too high during soak.

I had the same issue when I purchased my car at 452 miles it became hot it wouldn’t start they replace the starter the alternator but not the battery. So I took the liberty of charging my battery overnight myself in the battery never came to a full charge. So I re-created the same problem after two days in a struggle to start

When hot, the car may not start due to the ecu restricting fuel flow (coolant temp sensor ohms high).

I had the same issue with my 2020. It would sometimes be difficult to start when it was hot. For example, drive around, go to gas station. Turn it off, fill up, then it would sometimes sputter and be hard to start.

This issue sorted itself out after about 3 months and 3,000mi or so. If I had to guess, it was something to do with the adaptive PCM learning and/or normal break-in.

3300 miles on my 2020 RE. Still does it. My 2016 Hellcat with 7k on it did it too. Both do/did it since new. Annoying.

I did have a cam position sensor code pop up and the dealership "addressed" it. I am not sure what they did... they didn't change the sensor out. It was some sort of software fix.

Thank you for your response I currently have 6000 miles and I’ve owned the car for one year. I do not drive it very often
