I'm contemplating this but would like to see some pics first.

Short version....I drove into the house so I am having the front bumper cover repaired, repainted, and in 30 days PPF put on it. "While we are in there" replacing the front splitter as mine is scraped up. PPF installer said can't do PPF on the "bare" splitter so I was thinking about painting it to match.

Bonus pics if you have B5 pics :)

Have seen it done in yellow and in white.....looks very nice in my opinion, despite the risk to damages it will take.

Buddy with a 16 and vertical doors did his with the wrap design extending over it

Unpainted...Frankly I’m more interested in how you managed to run into a house.

If your car is a Challenger that splitter is about $135 new. Why spend PPF or paint money when you can just bolt up a new one for cheap? Not to mention they usually look tacky painted and get chipped up a lot faster than the raw plastic. just my thoughts lol.

in a haste after washing it because it started raining and was pulling into the garage from the opposite side that I normally pull into.

just getting old, vision and depth perception getting worse. I just misjudged it.

yes I have one ordered.

mine is really beat up from road debris. There’s not a ton of miles on mine but I do drive it (13000 miles).

Thought was if I’m gonna PPF the bumper cover, in time it will look fine and the splitter will be beat up again.

I cant hate this actually, the one they have online for a reference has some awful wheels, and just doesn't look right. This one is tasteful, I dig the cat badge in the grill and badge delete on the sides, and I've never seen those wheels before on a challenger but they look great.

That looks good. Thanks very much for posting that.

That's one of my "concerns". On your friends car everything is painted white (rockers, looks like the rear spoiler, and I'm assuming the rear diffuser is). My concern is that if the front splitter is painted B5 there isn't enough "black" in the front to balance the look out. I've thought too to paint the splitter guard black and put it back on to add some more "black" at the front.
