Has anyone recently ordered a Hellcat? How long did it take to be built & delivered? I ordered a 2021 Challenger SRT Hellcat on June 3rd, and I've received a VIN #. However, I've been sitting in D status for 3 weeks.
I understand the chip shortage...just wanted some input from those who've ordered recently.

Figured I'd start a tracking thread for anyone who has a cat on order. I recently ordered mine as have a few others here. We can put our info in & edit it at any time as info becomes available. This way anyone can get an idea of how long it may take. For anyone who has recently received their car, you can fill in info as well to help others with time lines. I'll start with mine.

Insert 3 week shutdown for parts shortage here............

JB status (upfit center) 4/20/21
Window sticker: 4/29/21
Build sheet: 4/20/21
Shipment date: April 27th (from plant)
Transit days: Shipped from hold lot in Toledo. 5/4/21
Final delivery: 5/5/21

Ordered a 21 challenger Redeye wide body on 5/27. Got the vin within a week. D status the whole time until last week got pushed back to C. Let’s see what this week brings.

Ordered my Charger RE on May 21. I have a VIN and now in D status also for a few weeks. It did go to C Status for a week, but back to D.

Did you ask your deal for an updated POC. Some of these guys need some training 😁 once they get that deposit they think their job is done. I kept asking till he just started sending them without me having to ask.

Priced Order Confirmation sheet. They more than likely had you sign one when you ordered the car and asked for a deposit. I ask for one every week so they don't forget about you. Has you status and estimated ship date (from Brampton)

This guy has many years at this dealership. I talk to him regularly, just yesterday he said it hasn’t changed. He assured me I will get updated if it changes as he checks the list daily.
another guy from Canada posted yesterday and said he ordered a month before me and his hasn’t changed either 🤷‍♂️

Ordered WBRE Challenger on 5/20. Got my VIN but no updates since.

Most orders have been running in the 10 to 12 week range, so probably around September. That said,there have been some who got theirs in under 8 weeks and some who are still waiting after 4 months.
