So I've read in some posts that claim Dodge is recommending greater than the six quarts of oil in the 15's & 16's. Book calling for 6, Dodge dealer telling me 6. Can anyone post up or direct me to the official document or source stating this recommended increase?

16 Charger Hellcat here and my owners manual says 6 quarts. I do my own oil changes and drain my oil cooler also. Fill it back up with 6 quarts and it's at the top of the range of my 16 dipstick. Bought a 17 dipstick and will put in 7 quarts this spring when I do my next oil/ cooler change. Why ? I agree with moparjim the 5.7 and the 6.4 Hemis take 7 quarts and I believe FCA wants consistency. Also there were many new Hellcat owners that did not check their oil levels and were surprised when the dipstick was not showing any. Just my thoughts.
