Anyone have a HCWB with a Carbon / Suede Interior Package. Please can you share your thoughts on it, and if you have any photos please feel free to post!

I just picked up my 2021 Redeye with the carbon/suede option. Overall I really like it and would choose it again. However, I am not sure about the wrapped steering wheel. I’m kinda afraid it might look really worn in a short period of time. But I don’t have anything to really base that concern, it just doesn’t seem that it would be as durable as the standard steering wheel.

Did the carbon/suede option not always come with a suede wrapped steering wheel, or did you swap it? Or is that suede, and I just can’t tell from the pic?

You are referring to the alcantara wheel, which is part of the alcantara package, which would also include the alcantara insert seats. The Carbon/Suede is just the carbon fiber dash and center console, along with suede headliner.

nearly 2 years and 15700 miles on my 1320 and zero wear on the alcantera steering wheel Of course I dont drive with a hand full of fries or candy in my hands but still its holding up ok so far.

That’s good to know. Hopefully my thoughts about the steering wheel will be unfounded

I was not a fan of the Alcantara steering wheel. I ordered it on my 19 HC WB Challenger and it just didn't feel right. There was fading within two years "I drove 10k miles a year" and it felt like my steering wheel was a warm sponge on hot summer days.

I ordered it and was thinking the same thing when i submitted the order.. Not sure i will like the texture as much as pure leather however, you cant separate the steering wheel from the seats.. I wish you could.. I really like the alcantara seats though so, decided to roll with it..

Yes, it's unfortunate you cannot separate the two but no worries. If you don't like the feel of the texture, a quick fix would be a steering wheel cover or you could purchase an aftermarket steering wheel or have the steering wheel recovered with leather.

This was my thought.. An easier fix than the seats themselves

You get more of the alcantara in the standard alcantara seats that come with the Plus Package.

If you order the Alcantara Appearance Package then you basically get Laguna Leather seats with only the center portion of the seat being alcantara.

i dont think this is an option in the hellcat packages. Only options are laguna or alcantara no in between. I think this is only on the SP
