I have Kooks and your gonna lose 1.5 lbs of boost. A 3.1 upper will get you 2.0lbs back. It does shift/increase your power to the upper rpm range. Can someone tell me who makes a good stainless header 1 7/8 for my cat. Also will I need to have a tune, not looking to make more power but not looking to lose power. Just want to sound better.
How much, Do you also have the pulley? Did you have your car tuned, and how did it run?I have Kooks and your gonna lose 1.5 lbs of boost. A 3.0 upper will get you 2.0lbs back. It does shift/increase your power to the upper rpm range.
My car is being returned to stock as we speak do I can trade it in.. If your interested I can make you a deal on these slightly used Kooks. View attachment 474877
This 2015+ Dodge Charger & Challenger Hellcat 2" x 3" Headers and this 2011+ Dodge Charger/Challenger and Chrysler 300C SRT8/Hellcat 3" x OEM GREEN Catted Connection Pipes is what I have. You will need the mids to connect to OEM catback. How much, Do you also have the pulley? Did you have your car tuned, and how did it run?
Hey, I am currently looking for headers for my 16 hellcat, right now I have Kooks and Corzas picked out, but just curious if you know any reasoning of why you would loose 1.5lbs of boost? I know this is a old post but was hoping you'd have some good data by now. I am doing side research rn on this but figured I would ask. ThanksI have Kooks and your gonna lose 1.5 lbs of boost. Looking at there website now! never heard of them before but I am willing to give it a try as long as its a quality product. Do you run them, if so got any videos? This thread is a good read and sheds some light on the 1.5 psi loss in boost with the commonly available headers

Let's talk about longtube headers...
Recently a good customer of ours said he wanted to do some exhaust upgrades. Longtube headers and catback system. He was afraid of losing power because he heard that longtube headers on the HC platform cause this to happen. I just wanted to start this thread to see what your thoughts are on...www.hellcat.org
I’d go with “Belanger Headers” TRY-Y tech
Never heard of them either, But the description sez,Looking at there website now! never heard of them before but I am willing to give it a try as long as its a quality product. Do you run them, if so got any videos?
