Friday afternoon I got the call from my shipping company that my Cat had arrived at the drop depot in Las Vegas from the dealership in New York where I bought her. The call came at 4:30 and they closed at 5:00 so I was told that I would have to wait until this morning to get her when they opened at 8:00 A.M.. I barely slept last night since I was so damn anxious to get her. I got there when they opened and when they pulled her around from the storage yard, I felt like a proud father seeing his child for the first time. It is everything I expected and more. I went home and washed her to my standards and started driving her to get past the break-in period requirements. As I was driving around Las Vegas, I pulled up to a light and a Camaro ZL1 pulled up next to me. The guy in the Camaro didn't know I was still in the break-in period and that I had to behave but he looked over and saw a Cat next to him, his smile disappeared and he looked away like he didn't notice me. It was pretty funny.
Well worth the wait and the price.
