Do you think the rear diffuser will push the rear down more and give it better traction? The launch is the beatch! If it can help with the launch, that's the key. Anxious to hear how testing goes.View attachment 9705 View attachment 9702 View attachment 9703 View attachment 9704 I'm in current production of an aero kit for my Challenger Hellcat. We are making 2 sets... One for the SEMA show to match the tri-coat black paint and another set for racing that will be matte black. Here are some renderings so far. We will most likely make some am changes to the rear defuser. Please provide any feedback you think may be helpful! View attachment 9702 View attachment 9703 View attachment 9704
Good question tho aero dynamic effects Only become noticeable at speed.Do you think the rear diffuser will push the rear down more and give it better traction? The launch is the beatch! If it can help with the launch, that's the key. Anxious to hear how testing goes.
I'll post pictures of the testing.yes. It will be wind tunnel tested sometime late next week I hope.
Thanks for advice. That's exactly what we're doing. CRZY Engineering is currently doing that work as we speak.Good question tho aero dynamic effects Only become noticeable at speed.
my advice would be to make a 3 peice kit. The third to join both front and back making a full under plate.
We are also going to be putting a piece to cover the rear tires by the door to reduce turbulence.yes. It will be wind tunnel tested sometime late next week I hope.
Nice you could build down force ducts that tie into the rear defuserThanks for advice. That's exactly what we're doing. CRZY Engineering is currently doing that work as we speak.
I hear that CF Front Splitters are somewhat dangerous because if you run track days with it installed, and go off the side and dig in or hit an apex bump and end up scrapping the splitter (which I have already done), then the CF material will splinter and could cause body damage. Have you heard this to have some truth behind it? Reason I ask is because I prefer the look of the CF and wanted to do the same on mine, but was talked out of it for the above stated reason.check out the Performance Air Dam thread www.hellcat.org/threads/performance-air-dam.9902/
BMC Extreme has the front splitter www.bmcextremecustoms.net/challenger-srt-hellcat-carbon-fiber-splitter-2015.html
Nope, haven't heard about this, but then again I haven't been on the drag strip with my cat....I hear that CF Front Splitters are somewhat dangerous because if you run track days with it installed, and go off the side and dig in or hit an apex bump and end up scrapping the splitter (which I have already done), then the CF material will splinter and could cause body damage. I am referring to Road Track (not drag). Also, I don't believe splitters should be installed if you're looking to run fast 1/4 miles. So they aren't good additions for drag runs or if you're looking to get a better 0-60 time. However, they are great for road tracks and serve a purpose. If you dont plan on doing either, then the CF splitter should be fine (other than it may not be forgiving if you hit one of those parking spot concrete "stoppers"). I've hit a few with mine (which is metal), and have only had the bend once. It was an easy fix...Nope, haven't heard about this, but then again I haven't been on the drag strip with my cat....
We have a full under-plate. I have posted pictures of them. Although, we cut out around the pipes to reduce heat build-up.Good question tho aero dynamic effects Only become noticeable at speed.

Are you asking me for updates?Any updates on this?
on the aFe CAI? Yes...so 37hp gains right?
