Since it was used I wiped down the clamp with alcohol and cotton swab
I tried to clamp the second one down near radiator but it was so narrow I gave up.
I tightened the main clamp to where it was snug with the screw and I stopped after another screw turn to make sure it's tightened.
Here's the top side , look below for the one by the radiator

Hcdc I'm with you, what's your piece of mind worth. I went to Cars & Coffee last Saturday with a car that had less than 50 miles on it. What did I think about? "Wish I had put an extra set of clamps on" Just for piece of mind. Would hate to have to clean all that sticky stuff up.

Thanks BF yeah it was bothering me for a long time. I might try to add the second clamp on for the hose side connected to the radiator which is kinda narrow for me at the moment so it made it hard for me to turn the screw. Are you planning to do yours?

Hcdc yes I do plan on doing it JUST to be safe. How embarrassing would that be to be out and it let go. What if you were cutting through a crappy end of town and a $2.50 clamp let loose? I would kick myself for not taking the time to have at least tried to prevent it. Smart move on your part.

I was able to install the clamp with no problems. Maybe the orientation that I chose for the clamps screw made it easier? o_O

Just make sure that the hose is up close to the tank and that the new clamp is ahead of the rib on the tank connection. You can see the rib bulge on the hose right next to the new clamp. Also, not over tighten it because you can deform the tank connection.

Thanks for the tips, I got it in and it's not touching the radiator and it is tightened just half a turn of the screw after it was snug. I used this computer tool while you posted lol

Woot! I need to order the clamps, too. I have small hands, so it shouldn't be too difficult. At least I hope it isn't. :)

April
The hardest part was the car was too hot. I would wait until it cools down an hour before going in. The clamps got so hot I almost got burns lol
