I'm new to the Mopar world and was wondering if Dodge has somewhere to go where you can request a certificate for your Hellcat build? No haters but you can get the certificate from Ford with your vin, production number, your build number and date of build. SLP provides a birth certificate for the ZL's. As you can see I love em all.

We can only hope they'll get with the program. I liked the idea they numbered the 08 and they were only SRT8s and the 2011 392s. Does anyone know if they came with any certificates for documentation? I'm surprised they didn't number the Hellcats for the first year.

The 2008 srt challenger did not come with a certificate. Number 153 sits beside my charger hellcat.

they could number them and put a plaque on the dash then sell a heritage doc pack that comes with detailed build info in a leather portfolio .I would pay extra For that. Dodge your missing out on $$$$

Yeah they are missing the boat but I'm glad they came through with these badazz cars. I was holding out with all the rumors floating around about a supercharged Challenger and here it is. Well it is a start like rayzazoo said with the build #, build sheet and window sticker.

when there will be 30,000 of them does it matter what # it is?

between chargers and Challengers arent there already 6,000 and the 1st year isnt over

its not a limited production car when they make 9,000+ a year and will for 3+ more years

yes i DO know my production # (1,000somthing)......but will it matter when your production # 25,240???

my 2013 GT500 is 1 of 6 in its color combo and 1 of 850something convertibles made in 2013.....when most of your HCs are Sublime(like mine)...your going to be 1 of 3,000 sublimes made that year......

i dont know how many Zl1's they are making to compare to it.....but im guessing less than 9,000 a year

the HC isnt as exclusive as some of you think.......and will be less so as the years go on and more are produced.....i wouldnt worry about your # or getting a certificate....Dodge isnt making them because there is no purpose to it

there's the kick in the teeth that i always deliver.....baam!

It won't matter to those that are later in the production line, but those that have early builds might want something to kind of salute the fact that they were able to get in early.

No it really isn't in the long run. It's just information. They made a ton of 08 Mustangs but mine is #2932 out of 6513 GT 500 coupes built 11/29/07 and is # 706 if 1504 in white. It's just neat information.

i understand......soon there will be special editions of the HC......and your plain Jane 2015 wont seem as special.......100% chance its coming.......Dodge is famous with the challenger and special editions.......all sticker packages, some with different rims....they will look cool compared to a plain/no striped HC from 2015.........by 2016 your build # will mean less and less

an early build # is cool......i was happy to find mine out.......and im sure someone will make a plaque or certificate for you to cash in on the excitement

i dont have a certificate for my gt500....but i did keep the official end of the year build #'s to show mine is 1 of 6 mad...at car shows when someone asks if the color combo is stock im ALWAYS glad to brag its 1 of 6........i never say its 1 of 4,000 gt500s built in 2013 though......and i dont plan on saying my HC is 1 of 6,000 or 9,000 built in 2015

No matter how many special editions come out in later years it all started with 2015 and there is nothing that can take that away. Challenger SRT 8 started in 08, 392 started in 11 and Hellcat started in 15. None of my cars are going to be worth anything till I'm long gone and buried. But until then I'm going to have fun driving them and learn as much as I can about them. Let someone else worry how much they're worth, I got to experience them.
