new to forum nice to meet everyone..first time hellcat buyer I was originally gtr owner, looking forward to fun times..question I have 2019 hellcat charger 13k miles, I got overheating warning come up on dash coolant temp rising as well,anyone else experience this issue? got warranty still just curious and pissed cause I just got this..any info be great ty

Sounds like fan not kicking on. Try running A/C, fans should run constantly with A/C on.

the fans are def running super loud

what sucks is dealer has no openings to mid next week, having my friends shop look at it tomm hopefully just a thermostat or something simple...just mad cause I just go this

Am not clear if you bought your HC new or used? When did the overheat start? Was it ok & then started overheating?

If used, did you road test (& how many miles did you drive it) before buying?

Does if overheat sitting, driving, both?

update, I did bring it to my Buddys tuner shop it was the thermostat and now everything is good...

used 12k miles...got it fixed today it was a thermostat

update, I did bring it to my Buddys tuner shop it was the thermostat and now everything is good...

I just started to read through your thread and was going to post that it might be the thermostat. I had one go bad on my HC Charger.

I'm glad you hot it fixed quickly too!

This is what I was worried about.
if your thermostat fails closed, it can cause overheating, warping your head, which in turn can cause a failure in the gasket.

Because my HC is modified I trailered my HC to HHP to be repaired. I used to have a very Good SRT guy at my local dealership that I would trust.
But not anymore.
When I was driving my AC wasn't getting cool.
That's What clues me in.

yea it wa strange the air obvi turned hot for a min when temps rise but went right back to cool...glad its fixed now

What Mods? Just take it in if still covered by warranty (based on Mods).
