Some of the below were issues with my car, some with others. Dealer resolved all my issues to my satisfaction without issue.

Check the front splitter for scuffing on the leading edge. Occurs during unloading.
Look at tire sidewalks, left front on mine was cut.
Check hood fit, ensure hood lays flat with fenders on both sides and front.
Check for belt rubbing on radiator hose.
Look for crooked exhaust tips, easy adjustment.
Check paint quality around fender openings
Some people have complained of paint quality issues, mine was fine.
Look at paint on the wheels. It's very thin.

After your done looking at it, paying for it, and admiring your purchase drive the hell out of it!

I didn't go too crazy when I picked mine up, because I wanted to respect the time of the people that were helping me out at the dealership. However, there are a few things that were important for me to check before I accepted delivery (a number of the things listed above are probably things that could/should be checked after accepting delivery, as you probably aren't going to refuse delivery on some of those items):

Delivery checklist:
  • No dealer decals on body
  • Max speed, 0-60, 1/8 and 1/4mi indicators
  • Odometer
  • Two red, one black key
  • Window sticker present
  • No dirt/oil/grease on interior
  • Check front splitter underside for damage
  • Walk around and look for any paint/body imperfections
  • Check for rubber in wheel wells and underside/inside of rear bumper (burnout evidence)
  • Check wheels for any damage (this was especially important to me, since mine was delivered with a bad tire and they had to replace it)

Mine has a "blemish" on one of the doors. Very difficult to spot unless you are moving and spot a discontinuity in the paint. Actually, no one saw it until I was standing and talking and about to leave the dealer after delivery! This item is very strange because the paint does not indicate any flaws at the surface. As unlikely as we want to believe it could have happened before paint, definitely a strange one. But, if it can't be fixed with paintless repair next week, it WILL get painted by the contractor of MY choice. Not a deal buster at all and it will get fixed, but a word to everyone else, these are beautiful cars and expensive cars so look at things closely.

Oh and that little leak at the front of the engine from the mystery hose with the impossible connection in front of the SC that some guys have shown....I was able to get a bit of oil off of it at mile #3 as I opened my new hood. Has not leaked another drop since, another weird item.

Wheels! The powder coat was thin in some places on mine. They ere nice and replaced it even though I scratched the rim after I reported the damage. There was a thread on this several months ago. I will try to find it.:D
