Hey as you go, if you have any insights on how hard it would be to convert an AWD car to Hellcat power that would be appreciated. If there was a HC AWD Charger I'd be all over it but Ma Mopar has been uncooperative so far...

 

Me too! I was wondering if we could use the transmission and transfer case from a Trackhawk to accomplish this? I would love to see that happen myself.

 

I'm sure it could be done, whether or not the awd could handle the hellcat power would be a whole different story.

You could have left the whole k-frame with the engine on the ground and lifted the car off it. Would have made your life a 100% easier.

Hey y’all, I was in the market for a 300 SRT for years, but the 2012-2014 5spd was always a setback for future 392 or hellcat swap.
I recently bought a beautiful clean 2015 chrysler 300s 5.7 w 8spd. I’ve been looking into a 392 swap, but figure how much more is a hellcat with all the crashed ones and readily available engines, or even paying the 24k from dodge with warranty.

I know that you have to install the Brembo and suspension, I’m reading here that the frame needs reinforcement? Is there anything else needed for the swap. Is there any shops in Northern California that do this?

Midnite300S, I had the same thought! I had a brilliant black supercharged 06 300 SRT8. Loved that car till the Hellcats came out. Now I have a phantom black 300S V6 as my daily. I’ve done all the appearance upgrades already, but would love to do a Hellcat swap on it.

 

This is totally badass!! BEAUTIFUL car!!!!!!

 

Guys the easiest thing for you to do is jump on copart and purchase a wrecked Charger Hell cat that has all the parts. IE rear end, brakes, all the body models, trans ecu, engine ecu etc
