Hellcat markups are going nuts...
$289 for a "nitro fill!" (what is that all about?!! ) I wonder if they throw in a full tank of gas?
SS at one dealer went for $130. Well, at least it can't get much worse (I think).

The Dealership is saying they filled the tires with nitrogen and are charging the buyer $289 for it. LOL

RUN, don't walk away from that Dealership.

As for the Admin. fees / Market Value Adjustments, give it a few more weeks with these high gas prices and you will not see any more Market Value Adjustments on gas guzzler vehicles. In fact, you will probably start to see them selling below MSRP in the very near future. Go out to Autotrader and Cargurus and see how far the price on Ram TRX's have come down just in the last few weeks.

Nitrogen for tires doesn't cost that much. They must be referring to filling the fuel tank with nitromethane. lol

Meh… idk. The used vehicle market is still propping these cars up, big time, and they still seem highly desired. Most listings for Charger/Challenger V8s has been moving pretty quickly, despite the $1 or so increase in gas per gallon. I think most of the guys running Scats and Cats aren’t too concerned about filling up for $5/gallon.

I also think gas may dip once opec steps up and consumers’ reduced demand on premium octanes starts taking its toll. My local stations had to slash their price for 93 my 50 cents in the last 3 days.

Latest dealership back office markup scam. Nitrogen filled tires are the new undercoating of the 2020's. First of all, nitrogen is free at Costco Tire Centers when you buy a new set of tires, and most of their shops will even fill your existing tires with nitrogen if you're a Costco member and bring your car in on a slow day. 2nd, they'd be hard pressed to prove there's actually nitrogen in the tires, so they're really charging you $289 for a set of four, minty green valve stem caps.

I looked at a 2019 WBSP last year before I bought my Hellcat and they had a dealer markup for $400 for nitrogen filled tires! I told the sales manager that the nitro markup was a obvious ripoff and had to be removed before I would even consider negotiating for the Scat Pack.

Besides the massive markup, the nitrogen, paint treatment, etched glass, etc, are all attempts to clear more profit. Funny when you look at a car on the lot that already has it all and you get that car. I tell them all that I’m not paying for that. Their response: “but it’s already installed”, oh well!

Disagree. TRX’s have been 10k below sticker everywhere practically since they came out. Youre not going to see Hellcats below sticker prob ever again. Platform is ending and besides, buyers of these couldnt give a rat’s ass about gas prices...
Hellcats are in demand and spring is here. Theyre not going down.

Things are different all over the country... I bought a TRX over sticker and then got a heck of a deal on trade.. ended up with a 22 Laramie plus a big check.
Im from WV and traded in Charlotte NC. They had showroom of mostly used HC and 1 or 2 Redeye plus a TRX.
My 2016 HC Challenger is worth almost what I paid for it with 2k miles back in 17 after being sick over trading my new 2016 HC for a Grand Cherokee SRT that wife wanted.
My HC has about 15k on it now and would love to sell and buy a Super S.. but while yes I'd get good money for HC.... SS is crazy money if you can find it..
Anyway.. good time to sell in most the country but terrible time to buy almost everywhere.

Deals are different depending on where you are in the country, local market, and the dealer. Here in MA you can still buy a HC at or slightly behind the sticker, especially if you have a trade the dealer wants. I went this weekend to look at a Hyundai Tucson with my daughter and they are 4k over sticker if you can even find one. Go figure.

There's a dealer in NH selling a TRX.Recently I told them I wanted the TRX at 10K under MSRP and I'd buy it. The car has already been scratched at the dealership, and when I told them they all but laughed at me. Unfortunately, not all Hellcat shoppers are smart shoppers.

Don’t post without the Dealer name so I can never do business there. Whores all. When I went to pick up my Redeye in April 2020, Autonation Roseville said the they would sanitize the interior. Alcantera. I told them that IF I EVEN SMELLED A HINT OF THAT FOGGY FU FU in the car, I would not take delivery.
